Thanking myself for having the forethought and intuition to use my smartphone to conduct some thorough searching. Backstory: I received notice of a pending lawsuit on July 1st, 2023. I read the documents and immediately started calling around searching for attorneys who could assist with debt collectors, but I wasn't successful at first in getting responses or callbacks, and most responses were from Bankruptcy Attorneys. On or around July 14th, I received an advertisement in the mail from Watts & Herring LLC. I read the advertisement, then searched for reviews. I was a little skeptical at first because all I saw was five stars. So, I contacted the attorneys via telephone and left a voice-mail. (I called on a Saturday, July 15th, because the advertisement stated that they were available on the weekends as well). I left a message with my name, phone number, and a very brief description of my case. Within 48 hours, I received a follow-up phone call. From that day, I was emailed a short video scenario of my case details, what Watts & Herring could do to assist me, and how to proceed if I wanted this team to take my case. The video in itself gave me all the confidence that I needed to hire Watts & Herring LLC. I cannot stress how thorough this team was, how communicative the team was, how many emails, phone calls, follow-ups that I received within a three week period (which was the time frame for my case to be given a court date, for me to hire this firm, and for this firm to get this case dismissed). Your case time frame may vary, but I'm speaking strictly about my case. I was always informed about actions that were being taken by Watts & Herring. I was in and out of the state throughout the months of July and August, but I had the utmost confidence that Watts & Herring would represent me in a manner that was consistent with the video presentation that I'd viewed. I am extremely happy with my case results. I'm ecstatic that Watts & Herring has such an amazing team. Whether it was a call, a text, an email, etc., regarding my case, they always, always, always kept me informed. Everyone was always graciously courteous. If you are a resident in the state of Alabama or are being sued in the state of Alabama, your best chess move would be to contact Watts & Herring LLC. I don't live anywhere close to Birmingham, which is where their office is located. I live about 3 hours away. But I'd hire this firm again in a heartbeat. Their firm represents all of Alabama. I'm content. I feel lucky that I trusted my instincts enough to read my mail and respond. Their mailing was well timed. I agreed to hire their team, and I read the contract. It was very easy to understand. Everything was signed electronically. I can sleep without having this court case looming around. To the entire Watts & Herring Team: Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. If I could give the team a million stars, I would. I'm not joking! Sorry, my review is lengthy, but it's worth reading. Hire this firm. Don't try to go at it alone.

When I got a letter from some company I had never heard of, being handled by attorneys I had likewise never heard of, for an amount I DEFINITELY didn't have, I had the normal reaction:. I panicked! I knew that I obviously needed help so I called my best friend who as a real estate professional knew much more than I did (which was nothing). He recommended Mr. Watts immediately. Mr. Watts took on my case that day and handled it promptly, professionally, and with that thing you cannot buy:. Kindness. It has been settled better than I could have hoped, in my favor. Mr. Watts and his team are impeccable. When I received a summons for a debt, I felt this great weight on my shoulder and could not sleep due to it. I researched and researched on how an individual could handle representing oneself in court but could not think straight due to the anxiety of having to even think about showing up to court.
