“During the meeting Mr. Martin suggested I have my house appraised. He gave me the name and number of an appraiser and a ball park estimate of the cost. He also assured me he was not getting any kickbacks for referrals. I contacted the appraiser and in the conversation I explain to him that I was referred to him by Mr Martin and asked approximately what the appraiser would cost. There was a huge difference in what Mr. Martin estimated and what the appraiser was charging.”
