John Lewis of Lewis Feldman, Lethane & Snable was recommended to us by my company attorney. I had identity theft due to a local bank allowing an out of state convicted felon to open a joint checking account with me (of which I had no idea about) After the account was opened, the bank somehow allowed the felon to transfer money from a joint personal account which I already had , into the account the felon opened The money was then withdrawn I had no knowledge of these transactions until the Bank started making their collection calls demanding I pay the money back. The Bank finally supposedly straightened everything out until about 2 weeks later then they let the same felon withdraw again Then the collection calls started again This caused me a lot of time off work, a lot of aggravation proving I didn't do this and a lot of harassment to me and my wife demanding we pay back the money. We obtained Mr. John Lewis to represent us,. We were completely satisfied with the manner in which our case was handled Mr. Lewis was able to get us a settlement in a timely manner without having to go to court We were compensated for our aggravation and harassment caused by this bank not following procedures We highly recommend this law firm and Mr. Lewis.
