My experience with the Zwiebel Law firm was a good one. I feel like the lawyers were professional and responsive when working on my case. We were able to successfully negotiate my divorce with it remaining uncontested. Navigating the divorce sector is a hard one, and I feel like they gave me really good guidance and the outcome I wanted.

Ms. Zwiebel and Ms. Bussey did an excellent job of representing me and my son. Their extensive experience and knowledge helped me get an excellent outcome for the custody of my child. I highly recommend this firm if you are wanting an attorney who cares about their client and will fight fiercely to achieve their client’s goals.

Too expensive!!!

Since it was 'requested' that I write a review of my experience with Elizabeth Zwiebel, I am following through, but like with many things, be careful what you wish for, you just might get it. I've told students for over two decades, "It's not WHAT you know, it's WHO you know." Elizabeth is an excellent example of that. Because of her time working at the Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles over a decade ago, she has at least one inside contact, and that contact is why she's getting two stars instead of one. While she may be an amazing family law litigator (divorce, custody, et al) her work for ABPP clients in my experience was 'meh'. Her work is expensive for mediocre (at best) effort, her communication skills are terrible, oration is sub par, follow-up non-existant and the majority of the information she provided was outdated, incorrect or just misinformed. Yes, I got the results that I was seeking, but the vast majority of that was due to my own leg work, research, social interaction and effort. I personally believe that I could have achieved the same results with a different attorney for half the cost. I could not in good faith, recommend Elizabeth to represent another client without serious caveats and personal reservations. So having said all that, caveat emptor.

Beth and her team did amazing! I hadn’t seen my son in over 4 months and she came in and took care of that! Will always recommend the Zwiebel law firm!

I got charged for a lot of money to get "deferred" to another location.

A joke of an attorney office that holds your funds if you decided to dismiss a case. Way too expensive. Careful people they charge by the minute/word. They get offended when you ask about the nature of the charges.

Going through a divorce is traumatizing as an individual, and as a parent. Elizabeth Zwiebel and her amazing team made the process survivable for me, and the outcome has been nothing short of miraculous. Going in, I thought that we would never be able to see eye to eye on a settlement or custody terms. Ms. Zwiebel showed amazing skill and tact in negotiating on my behalf though, and also incredible grace and understanding of the entire situation and all parties involved. I cannot thank her and the Zwiebel Firm enough for the piece of mind and promise for a stable future that they ensured for myself and my family.

The Zwiebel Law Firm is full of incredible people who helped me tremendously in my case and I am so thankful for them! I would highly recommend them for anyone in the Birmingham area, because they 100% deserve the 5 star review based on their knowledge and expertise alone but also their kindness and compassion!

The Zwiebel Law Firm was most definitely a blessing in my life. It was most definitely a tough time going through a divorce, but Elizabeth Zwiebel and her firm made it bearable and provided the best possible outcome, in regards to both the divorce and the child custody. Would highly recommend their firm for anyone in the area, you will not regret it!
