Could not refer Elizabeth Zwiebel more! She stayed on top of keeping in contact with me about my case, knew a ton of case law by memory which is very important in complex cases like mine, prepared me very well for testifying, and overall was God sent in a time when I needed her the most. She was a constant encourager to me during such a trying time. Her office, and assistants are just as professional. Just look at her winning ratio!

Wow! I am a Father and this is quite a story. I have many friends who are lawyers, not divorce lawyers, and I received multiple recommendations to Divorce Law Firms. None of which, however, provided me a feeling of confidence or had time to represent me on such short notice. As fate would have it and due to my personal procrastination waiting for the stars to align, I found myself two days from a scheduled court settlement conference and facing a motion for sanctions without legal representation. Following a google search for Divorce Attorneys in Birmingham, I called the Zwiebel Law Firm on a Monday and was scheduled for a telephone conference with Elizabeth Zwiebel at 0830 the next day (Tuesday). I was looking for a Firm whose singular mission was Family Law. Keep in mind that my court settlement conference was scheduled at 1000 the next day (Wednesday). Elizabeth just happened to have a significant case that was scheduled for court on Wednesday and Thursday that had been postponed. She talked with me during our phone conference and graciously agreed to represent me in my divorce case. I paid my retainer and within the hour had email confirmations of the filings her staff had made on my behalf. Today at court was nothing short of amazing. Elizabeth and her colleague, Catie, were phenomenal. Their understanding of Alabama Divorce Law, their professionalism and personalities immediately gave me a level of confidence and expectation of a really good day. Prior to the settlement conversations, Elizabeth clearly identified the leverage points we were holding that would give us an advantage in negotiating the terms I sought as a Father of two amazing daughters. Elizabeth is thoughtful and tactical when she is communicating with opposing Counsel, identifying any opportunities to improve the outcome for her client. In less than 4 hours, we reached a settlement agreement that allowed me to get everything that I wanted regarding the structure of the divorce agreement, including joint-legal-custody of my daughters with an every other week custodial agreement. If you are looking for an experienced, Divorce Law Firm whose sole mission is to reach the best outcome for their clients, then you need to call the Zwiebel Law Firm. Beth and her team helped me get a fantastic result in a complicated family matter. As should happen in all issues in front of the court, the facts make all the difference and the Zwiebel Law Firm did an excellent job of presenting and organizing those facts for my trial.
