We retained Mr. Stephen Williams on behalf of our son and granddaughter in the fall of 2016. The situation was very tumultuous and traumatic for us and our whole family, and emotions ran high. There were several hearings and setbacks throughout the next year but in the spring of this year, 2018, our son gained true joint custody of our granddaughter along with our granddaughter’s mother, which had always been our hope and prayer. Mr. Williams truly was the “calm within the storm”. While he showed compassion and understanding for what we were going through, he was also very direct and truthful about what needed to be done in order for us to achieve the results we were after. He sugar-coated nothing. His response time to inquiries was relatively prompt, but to us everything was a dire emergency and we unrealistically expected an immediate response or phone call. Mr. Williams always seemed familiar with our case, even though I’m sure he continually had multiple active cases. At times we were dismayed that Mr. Williams seemed to let things pass when we wanted to jump up and down and scream foul during courtroom proceedings where there were tricky shenanigans, as well as lies and twisted half-truths to cast us and our son in a bad light. But Mr. Williams assured us that the moral high-ground was the correct path to take, and he was right. We are very grateful to Mr. Williams and would recommend him to anyone who wants an ethical and knowledgeable attorney who will make you feel as though you are his only current case.

Personable, professional and knowledgeable. My husband and I hired Mr.Williams for a custody case and he was quick to get back to us.
