Chris is a very good lawyer caring and professional

Chris didn't just win my case; it was a complete annihilation. Not only did I retain custody of my grandaughter, but he also got me an order for child support that I didnt even ask for. He is also very friendly and approachable. I met him in an elevator at the courthouse and then asked some of the clerks about him. They all knew him and had great things to say about him. That is one of the reasons I chose him.. I didnt want a lawyer who stays in his cushy office all day. I wanted someone who is in the courthouse fighting for his clients. I highly recommend Chris! Oh, and I just saw that some guy left bad feedback because he said Chris charges an initial consult fee. I dont know if that is true, but my initial consultation was in an elevator. I was at the courthouse because I was planning to fight it myself to save legal fees. After we got off the elevator, chris talked with me for at least a half hour and told me exactly what to do to file it myself. After talking with him and hearing his incredibly reasonable price, I was so relieved to be able to afford him and not have to do it myself. I had spoken with another attorney that morning, and he wanted almost ten times the price, which is why I had decided to do it myself. So, the implication that Chris is money hungry is just not true in my experience. (I actually came back and edited my review after reading what that guy wrote). Even if he does charge an initial fee (I dont know), it would be worth it, because I guarantee you will walk out of his office knowing exactly the best course of action, and that kind of peace of mind is priceless.

Never hire an attorney who charges a fee for the initial consultation. It shows a lack of interest and commitment right off the bat.
