Divorces can be difficult for all parties involved, but we are very thankful we found Robert Autrey, Esquire to take on my brother’s case. He and his paralegal Chelsey Drane went above and beyond to understand all the facts and details of the case, communicating regularly with the opposing party and setting up mediation because it was in the best interest of my brother to get the case settled. They were both very informative throughout the case and always made sure everyone understood the process and options throughout the divorce negotiations. A few days ago I decided to have a consultation and dropped off a check to “secure” my appointment. After a few hours I had decided to hold off on the consultation. I called the office and let them know, I was specifically told that my check won’t be deposited and that they will hold it for when I decide to do the consultation. The next thing you know, the check has been deposited the very next day. I called the office to see what’s going on and they said they deposited it so my spot can be held for a future time to conduct the consultation. This happened without my authorization. I asked why the check was deposited the next day but it takes 3-5 business days to get my money back. The lady that works in accounting for extremely rude because I asked a valid question and proceeded to hang up the phone on me. Needless to say I will not be going back to this firm. They are extremely unprofessional. So quick to take the money but take days to return it.
