Gene represented me for two cases and won both. Going through legal issues can be very stressful, but Gene made the process easy, as I knew I was in good hands. He is well-versed in the law and an excellent attorney. I am very grateful to Gene for his help with my legal matters and highly recommend him!

Gene Bowman helped us fight and navigate a very complicated IRS tax assessment. He was kind, compassionate, understanding, and the utmost professional. He spoke with me numerous times on the phone and via email to understand the full scope of the IRS matter. We could not have reached the successful outcome we did without him. Mr. Bowman knows tax law and wrote a timely response that addressed the issue from many angles. He brought clarity, direction, and wise counsel to a very stressful situation. He did not charge us until he knew he could help us. He is a man of integrity, wisdom, a voice of reassurance, knowledge, and experience. I have referred several close friends and family to Mr. Bowman. I trust him and he goes above and beyond for his clients! He could do what no one else could. Dealing with the IRS on your own is a nightmare, but you can rest easy knowing you're in capable, compassionate, experienced hands. Mr. Bowman has been our tax advisor for a number of years and has always been professional and knowledgeable. I’ve been so pleased with the work he has done that I have referred him to multiple individuals who have also been very pleased.

Gene is not only a great attorney, but his extensive accounting background make him well versed at handling complicated business issues. 11 February 2021 When my father passed away in 2018 at 104 years of age, I was faced with getting my parents’ tax preparations in order. I soon discovered that this would be no ordinary task. In addition to his American income and Social Security, he was getting incomes from Germany in the forms of a small pension and Social Security. Tax laws in Germany are entirely different, so I had no clue as to how to go about it. I went to the Bowman Law Firm to get some advice and found that Gene Bowman was not only willing, but totally able to handle this somewhat intricate situation. He did it masterfully and quite accurately, resulting in a sizeable refund for my mother who was in a nursing home. I decided to have him do my tax returns as well, and now, after Mr. Bowman doing them for the last two years, I will continue with his service. Tuesday, February 9th. I was referred to Bowman Law Firm though another high profile law firm in the Huntsville area to possibly inquire about submitting my employment resume to his firm. Unsure if there would be any opportunities I was told it wouldn't hurt to try or at least submit for record or future opportunity. When I called I spoke to a young lady who was professional but wasn't sure how to advise me on submitted my resume so she offered (her words) to forward my call to Mr. Bowman himself and he could help me. I was a bit unsure of this since he is main attorney and I hoped I wouldn't be disrupting. The phone rang a few times and a man picked up. I wasn't sure if this was Mr. Bowman or not. I introduced myself and told him my reason of my call and asked if I could email him my resume for any employment opportunities. I was very nice and thorough and clear in my speaking. He did not respond very friendly and I asked him if I could ask his name. He flat out told me "No I could not and wanted to know my purpose of call" after I had already just given him information. How rude. Is this how he speaks to all? Whether I am a client or potential client, or just a person of interest in Bowman Law wanting to inquire about employment. And the person who referred me spoke highly. I didn't say anything else and just hung-up. I called back and spoke to the same girl. I asked was there an office manager I could speak to and I asked her was that Mr. Bowman she forwarded me too and explained to her my experience. She laughed and said, "he is usually a nice man" so with that that answered my question as to who he was and how unprofessional his call was. My whole intent was to call and hopefully have a nice conversation and forward on my resume. I was evening to share how I was referred and by whom referred me. Due to negative experience I will let the other party know it was a no go and I will never take time to engage with Bowman Law Firm again.

I highly recommend Mr Bowman for any tax problem. I was several years behind in filing my Alabama taxes and had received letters from the state saying I owed significant amounts. I was quite concerned that I would have to pay additional interest and penalties. Gene advised me that he could file the returns and that there would probably be no repercussions. He was completely attentive and friendly. He really put my mind at ease. He guided me through attaining all of the information needed to file my returns. I would have been lost without his assistance. He handled my returns quickly to head off a second set of state letters 'threatening' greater consequences. In the end I not only didn't owe the state, but I recently received a refund. Thanks, Gene.

I went to see Mr. Bowman after I received a letter from the IRS stating i owed them a sum of over $21k on a property I lost over 5 years ago, of course I was deeply concerned, I know how aggressive and tenacious the IRS can be , Mr. Bowman took his time and listened to me as I told him what had happened , he agreed to take my case and see if he could help me, he guided me through the process of attaining what I needed to bring to him in order for him to put together my case . Without his guidance and patience I would have been completely lost, he has a calming effect that makes you feel like it's going to be fine lets just get together what we need and move forward, in the end Mr. Bowman cleared me of all responsibility and I owed the IRS $0 in the end. There are no words that I can think of that would relate to you how grateful I am to Mr. Bowman.Mike M.

Gene represented my wife and me a few years ago with an IRS case. We were 7 day from going into Federal Tax Court.
