Ms. Garland represented me exceptionally well throughout a drawn-out process. Although she certainly was handling multiple case loads concurrently, she was always responsive and thorough in her interactions with the Court and me as her client. Her knowledge and experience were beneficial in getting a better outcome than I expected.

Catherine did an excellent job will my child support modification. She went through the process and explained all the potential bumps in the road. I consulted with Cetherine Garland as i was referred to her by a friend of mine seeking assistance in dissolving my marriage. I was extremely worried about how difficult the process might be as I have children involved. Catherine was very informative and also understanding. By the end of the consultation I knew immediately that I wanted to retain her services and continue with the process. She handled every request and concern I had promptly and in a way that made this whole process stress free. When we went to court, she represented me and answered all questions perfectly while my mind was in a million places. In the Summer of 2017, my wife told me she wanted a divorce--rocked my world, caught me off guard, I thought things were good, etc. When it became apparent that none of my efforts to reconcile were going to work, I knew I needed a lawyer. I had consulted with two other lawyers before I met with Catherine Garland. Catherine was recommended because she had a strong track record dealing with the lawyer my wife hired. After meeting with her, I knew she was the lawyer I needed. Catherine and her office were remarkably responsive; I joked with a colleague I felt like I had 24/7 and online support. She was not only knowledgeable, but has a wisdom and confidence that is apparent. And she is brutally honest--I didn't get everything I wanted, necessarily, but I got a really good agreement put in place where I keep the house and get joint custody of my children. At one point, the ex-wife threatened to tell her lawyer to file for divorce and take our differences to court. Catherine reached out to the other lawyer, talked everyone off the ledge and within a week we had an agreement I was willing to sign. I have never heard of a lawyer doing such a thing before. Catherine's office was awesome, too; everyone was 100% professional and responsive. I would HIGHLY recommend Catherine Garland to anyone needing a divorce lawyer. This was the worst thing I have ever been through, but Catherine was able to calm the waters and kept me sane during the final steps.
