MK went above and beyond during my divorce. Anytime I felt defeated, scared and just ready to give up she was there as a solid backbone and fought twice as hard for me and my kids. She never gave me false hope and was always very direct about everything which I respect. Anytime there was an issue she met it head on without hesitation while confidently reassuring me along the way. I would like to thank the Galanos firm, in particular Mary Kristen Galanos (MK) and her staff for making our dreams come true on 2 February 2022 when we obtained full custody of my 6-year-old granddaughter. My daughter died on 28 July 2022 and she had just received full custody a month before her death. As you can imagine we were devastated of the death of our daughter and then trying to get everything together to not lose our granddaughter also. MK had originally helped my daughter before she passed, and she immediately stepped in to help us with loving care! My wife and I had never been through a child custody case before, but MK made a special effort to make us feel comfortable with the case and always made sure we understood the process and how we would approach each step of the process. My husband's ex-wife decided after my husband and I got married in January of 2020 that she was going to create chaos. Then in July of 2020, she made false allegations against my husband which started the process of us all going back to court over child custody. MK and Kayla have been over our case since and have been FANTASTIC! After a year and two months of this long battle with my husband's ex-wife, we got PRIMARY CUSTODY!!! It was a very long and stressful time, but we got what we wanted in the end all thanks to these two girls! They are always professional, polite, quick to respond, very knowledgeable, and always willing to explain things to us to help us understand what all was going on/being done with the case. My husband was scared that nothing would change and that his ex-wife would maintain primary custody of their son, but now he is over the top ecstatic! I am so glad to finally see my husband so happy with having primary custody and getting to see his son almost every day! I would recommend them to anyone!
