I wish I can give 10 stars with this review because attorney Kelli McDaniel is one of a kind! Unfortunately, these days 95% of the attorney are "settlers". They push for 50/50 totally disregarding the best interest of the child. Ms McDaniel is NOT a "settler", she is a "litigator ! If 50/50 is not what's in the best interest of the children, she will fight for those children and she will "fight" hard! Unfortunately I was not able to use Ms. McDaniel in my very high conflict divorce from a malignant narcissist because I moved to Birmingham but occasionally, as needed, I consulted with Ms. McDaniel about my case. The attorneys I had in Birmingham were horrible: they pushed for 50/50 despite the fact that they were aware of child abuse (Dad denying medical care to a child with a terminal disease). We went through mediation and they were so "pushy" on me to settle (yes, my own attorneys and yes, I had two of them because it was high conflict!) to the point of being coercive. They were pushing to settle for 50/50 physical custody, no child support, no alimony (after 21 years of marriage and left with nothing), pretty much for the Dad's best interest not the child's. Because I didn't let myself being bullied and I was very firm on my position, they turned against me. They knew it will be a lengthy, high conflict divorce and more importantly, they knew that I will not have the money to pay in full my legal fees at once. Long story short, I have legal fees well in the six figure and they did nothing, even more so, they blind sided me and they even lied to me giving me false information (they made sure all the lies happen over the phone so it can't be documented). Horrible experience with the Birmingham attorneys (Randy Nichols and Cindy Webb) because let me tell you: It was one thing for me to be emotionally, psychologically and financially abused by this psychopathic narcissist but, as a parent, to see your child abused and not to be able to do anything about it because the attorneys were not on my side ... that's next level abuse! Through all this dramatic divorce, every time I called Ms. McDaniel out of desperation to advise me what to do, she made herself available for me right away. ALWAYS! Even well after regular office hours (7 o'clock at night) and even on Saturday mornings! She truly is passionate about her profession and she will fight for you and your children! If you are divorcing somebody with a personality disorder or if you have a difficult situation, regardless of what it's in your bank account, she will go above and beyond for what's best for you and your children! Just do it, you will not regret it, I promise!

I knew talking with Kelly the first time that we (my son and I) found the right attorney to handle my granddaughters custody case. Kelly explained everything and talked with us and offered help when needed to understand the logistics of the case. Kelly and her staff worked their magic and showed us just what an amazing attorney looks like in court!! She absolutely won our case and got us exactly what we were after, more visitation with my son’s daughter and my granddaughter!
