Christy Crow took a case for me that she had an ethical conflict in, and she should have never taken it. I was the plaintiff in the case, and the two defendants were an insurance company and another attorney who Christy Crow was friends with. Christy Crow assured me that she would handle this case just like any other, and it didn’t matter that she knew the defendant. I was naive about the legal system at the time, and I believed her. It was a huge mistake. Christy Crow did a good job of going after the insurance company and got a big settlement which she got her percentage of. However, as soon as the insurance company agreed to the settlement Christy Crow declared that the other defendant (her friend) had no money which was a total lie. From that moment on, Christy Crow did nothing to help me with my situation involving her friend (the defendant). The money from the insurance company was nice but it didn’t solve my problem. I’m still in court today (7-8 years later) trying to sort out the mess that Christy Crow caused. She handled the situation very unethically, and I should have pursued her for legal malpractice but the statute of limitations has passed for that now.
