Leigh Ann is easily the worst person and definitely the worst lawyer I have ever met. My father hired her for my second DUI in February of 2020 and it has been a nightmare to work with her since then. She acts as if doing anything her job requires is a huge hassle and makes sure you know "how much effort she is putting in", without ever actually showing proof of any of it. Initially, I did not want to go to Seattle for "treatment" because I knew I didn't need it. Liz, her paralegal/secretary then instructed me to just go to a different program and not tell Leigh Ann about it. I did that and graduated. Received no recognitiion from Leigh Ann or the court, nor did they ever ask for any proof of it. So it was pointless. I was also on house arrest for almost all of 2020, with Leigh Ann not trying to get me off of it once, no matter how many times I asked, and ended up not receiving credit for any of it because she refused to argue my case. I ended up getting in trouble again in February of this year unfortunately, due to my mental health issues, which Leigh Ann and the entire court were more than aware of, and all I got in return was Leigh Ann compeltely quitting as my lawyer and taking all of my money with her, not ever showing me any proof of what she had actually done as my lawyer in the LAST YEAR. She did not quit due to me having issues; she quit because I asked for evidence that she had argued my case. I have several voice recordings of her screaming at me and calling me names, as well as many emails including her lack of professionalism and downright rudeness. This is not how you treat people, much less clients who are paying you. I have already started my complaint to the bar. All of this being said, based on her reviews, you can definitely tell she picks favorite clients who she actually wants to help and those that she doesn't. Which is why she receives either 5 or 1 star. So hey, if you want to waste $10,000 in hopes that you will be one she'll actually like and do her job for, go for it. But I wouldn't risk it. I now have a public defender who is doing 10 times more than she ever did and actually keeping me updated on what is going on with my case. Who would have thought that someone provided from the state would be more helpful than an attorney? It's because they actually have something to prove; she doesn't. Leigh Ann and her office don't care about you as a person or a client. Look somewhere else. UPDATE: I now have a public defender who actually communicates with me and is helping me stay out of jail. Leigh Ann never did this. She was going to let me rot in jail for months. Also, he is getting me credit for being on house arrest March-August of last year when Leigh Ann refused to even try. In regards to her comments, well, you can see how she always has an excuse for people who are unhappy with her service.

I would just like to thank Lean Bauer and her team for there hard work in helping me get not one but two DUI charges dropped. The first one was a few years back and just recently they pulled through for me once again. I wouldn’t call on anyone else for legal assistance because they never hesitate when it comes to having my back and they’re just flat out good at what they do.Period. Thanks again and keep up the great work!!!!

Pretty much I got a DUI and Leigh Ann Bauer got it Dismissed. Very big thank you to her and her whole staff who helped. I had no idea this firm existed actually some one recommended her to me and I called her right away. Best decision I ever made. Now I will fersher recommend her to whoever would need her in the future, no doubt in that.

Attorney Bauer represented me in a dui case and it was the best decision I have made. She goes the full mile and looks at every piece of evidence.In my case the data master results were challenged, the trial to dismissed lasted approximately 2 1/2 years and attorney Bauer never flinched. Ultimately the case was dismissed despite a relentless assault by the state and crime lab. Attorney Bauer is the real deal and you won’t regret having her represent you!!!

Well received a Dui last year, which was certainly my fault. Asked if Lee Ann Bauer would take my case and she agreed. Clearly a very busy woman, however she employs an amazing staff to do the leg work it takes to win a case or just to do the research required to be successful. Reasonable retainers and fees, nothing in this world is free certainly when you do the screwing up. I will recommend this firm and there amazing staff of professionalism i received. This case was a year long still never actually went to court. I couldn't of been more please with the results. Huge thank you to Connie, Liz, and Lee Ann for taking care of my case. BEST ATTORNEY IN ALASKA! I hired Leigh Ann last year when I was arrested for a DUI. I called Leigh Ann and hired her on the spot. I have never been in trouble before and didn’t understand the process. When I talked to her on the phone, she walked me through the process and made me feel very comfortable in her ability to handle my case. If I received a DUI, I would lose my job, so I was extremely impatient out of fear. I would call all the time wanting to know the next steps and learned really quick to just trust she had my best interest. I read some of the bad comments on here when I was nervous and started to wonder if they were true. She is very busy and at times I can see where people could feel they’re not getting a good quality attorney, but I can tell you from my own experience you will not get a better attorney! If she is able to sit on the phone all day, and then she wouldn’t be doing her job. All you have to do is contact Liz and she will answer your questions. It’s best if you email Liz, she responds within a timely manner. Last week I received an email from Leigh Ann and the DA dropped my case!!! I will be forever grateful for Leigh Ann and Liz. I highly recommend Leigh Ann she will work hard for you, just trust the process and be patient. My case took a year to get dropped.
