So uninterested as if I taking up her time. Payed 150.00 for 1 hour. 25 minutes in she keeps looking at door where boss is passing by. He looking like finish this. As she rolling her eyes. Waste of money, never again.

I lost my US passport when moving. My social security card had been misplaced a couple years before that to which I thought, “No sweat, I’ll order a new one when I remember to.” I also thought that my naturalization certificate was something that could be easily looked up online and replicated when I lost my original from 20 years ago. Surprise surprise when I learned that to replace any of these three documents, you need the other. When I called the social security office over Covid, they claimed that I wasn’t even a US citizen so they couldn’t issue me a replacement card. They had no record of me, they said. I had been a citizen for 20 years at that point who voted, filed taxes, changed my name when married with the social security office etc who now had nothing but a driver’s license and voter ID card. Lara Nations spent a couple hours with me going over all of my options and a plan that would most quickly get a document that proved I was a US citizen. I had no idea that the law was so complex, disjointed and honestly failed us as American citizens so often. I’m glad to have had her by my side in trying to figure out the mess that I had gotten myself into. I still can’t believe the social security office claimed to have no record of me. In addition, she is familiar with temporary stays for refugees, such as the one issued to Ukranians coming into Alaska on a two year visa. I’m sending my Ukranian friends her way. 10/10 recommend for immigration and citizenship issues.
