We had a major investigation of our IDTF diagnostic facilities and one of our shareholders, a physician, faced board complaints in every state he was licensed in. It was grueling and extremely stressful. D’Arcy was recommended by another attorney and we are thankful we were able to retain her. She coordinated and oversaw all of the out of state matters that required local counsel, handled the federal matters including experts. She helped us resolve the case with minimal repercussions and managed to obtain dismissals on all of the board complaints. She was sensitive to our stress level and on one hand was extremely compassionate with us and on the other - relentless with the opposition. D'arcy was fantastic! She was able to negotiate a settlement between my now ex-husband and I that we could both live with. We were able to have a consent divorce & be divorced immediately under the laws in Michigan at that time. My ex-husband was extremely difficult to work with. I had taken out a PPO on him that didn't allow contact. Then later, rescinded it after he left me alone for 5 months so we could communicate to get divorced. D'arcy talked me through the steps I needed to take here in Michigan to get everything done. When he refused to sign for the divorce papers & I had to hire a deputy to serve them, she was the one we turned to to negotiate an arrangement that would work for both us. She is able to be completely neutral when necessary - even if she wants to take a side. I was quite impressed.

I am a medical professional. When faced with a malpractice suit and state board complaint, I was physically sick with worry. A colleague recommended D'Arcy and even though I was skeptical and thought I maybe should hire a lawyer with a big firm in Phoenix, I went to the free consult. I went to four lawyers and four consults and she was the only local lawyer. She also knew more about medical cases that anyone I spoke with and she had a keen interest in preserving my reputation. I took a chance and she handled everything from my local hospital privileges to the board complaints and malpractice claim. Her knowledge of medical practice and how agencies work saved me.
