Highest praise I can possibly give for Guymon Law. My own lawyer, Joanna Medrano, is incredibly talented and intelligent, able to prepare for multiple outcomes and think quickly on her feet when surprises happen in court. She can take mountains of data and piece together everything relevant and helpful. She is also incredibly empathetic. Her, and all the staff at Guymon (Vicki, I love talking with you every time I call ;) are all so supportive and friendly and encouraging. I've had two other lawyers. Joanna has been the best by far, and the same goes for everyone else on her team. Ya never want to have need for a lawyer, but meeting everyone at Guymon was a pleasant crossroad on the roughest path I've ever been on. If it's not obvious, I highly recommend calling them when you have need for a good family attorney.

Attorney Karen Schoenau at Guymon Law has done a great job in my family case. Her knowledge, relationships, and abilities were all on display in my hotly contested matter. She has been responsive to email, phone and when needed, in-person meetings. I especially enjoy her hearing and trial abilities. Most attorneys are good at writing pleadings and negotiating issues but it takes a special lawyer who can win at hearings. Her support staff is helpful and friendly. I highly recommend her and her firm.

Amber is very knowledgeable in family law, and helped me navigate through the extensive custody/parenting plan as well as the overwhelming child support issues. A very good lawyer for a family case and a very nice front desk worker and a very good waiting room within their office and a nice office in general

To pushy and the needs of individual clients need to be considered.

Taylor is a nice guy/attorney always looking to get two parents on the same page - however it is only beneficial if you are looking to pay for a 'nice guy" legal services verses someone who can actually demand expediency and have authority in any matter. I chose to go with Guymon Law because there were recommended by the Aurit Center for Mediation. The firm appears incapable of establishing proper attorney - client expectations. I would be told that communication would go out by end of week and then 9 days go by without any word. Personally and professionally speaking I am a "doer" and I needed a more aggressive attorney who can strategically assist me in my legal matters, rather than rack up a bill playing telephone between myself and my ex. I needed someone who was less reactive and more methodical about a game plan that would serve my children's beat interests. Again - not personal against Taylor, he is very kind...but a kind lawyer is not going to get it 'done' for me.

Hired this person and didn't have a right in the world with my daughter. She took my retainer fee, and others, to show up in court, and cram for a test, frantically paging through the info I gave her over the course of months. She asked me basic background questions that she should have known 2 months previous. I suppose if you have enough money to throw at her, she may make an effort. I lost dearly because she was unprepared. She will say that I had to work towards graduated visitation. What is her excuse for my child not even allowed to have my last name and absolutely NO legal parenting rights? A big mistake while I sat there and listened to her get smashed in court by a shrewd prepared opposing lawyer. My daughter is the one that suffers to this day. Stay far away from this lawyer.

Amber and her Firm have went well above and beyond what one could expect in the years I’ve been a client!
