Mr Todd Simpson is truly one of the kindness man I have ever met. Not only did he take the time to listen patiently and provide me with legal guidance on my case, he was also honest and on point. Todd Simpson was amazing!!!! He was able to see me quickly when I initially called. Todd, "The Best - But Definitely Not The Only - 4-Letter Word You Might Hear In A High-Conflict Case." I am writing this prior to final trial, posting just after trial so as to not be influenced by the final outcome and a true testament to his representation and advocacy of myself. The term "Narcissist" is quite in vogue, and assuredly a number of folks are going to be looking for an attorney experienced with cases against a personality disordered adversary. Look no further. Todd undoubtedly has that experience (and, will perhaps have nightmares for months to come). The wind didn't always blow our way, as is often in these sorts if things. Not initially. Court is notoriously brief and built on an adversarial framework. It is not a good place to solve family disputes - but, is the stomping grounds of certain personalities to punish their adversary. In these 15 or 30 minute Court hearings, the truth is too complex for it to be explored and for it to prevail. This is soul-crushing to be on the bad end of this business. You're gonna need someone on your side. Todd is unique. He was righteously indignant, and aggressively reasonable. In a high conflict case, you need someone who will be honest with you when you aren't seeing clearly, who will tell you when you're barking up the wrong tree or being spiteful and unfair. He will tell you when you need to fall on the sword. Todd is a workhorse who was emotionally invested in my case, but without letting it cloud his own fierce advocacy. Todd brings Honor to the profession, and gives meaning to the term "counsel". An attorney was never meant to be a 'yes man' who just does whatever you ask. To bring the point home, if you are fighting against a personality disordered and/or manipulative adversary, you're going to have to get brutally honest about your side of the street and be who you really are, warts and all. Todd helped me do these things. He fought tooth and nail, and most of all, I know he had my daughter's future at heart at all times. No matter what the outcome, it is thanks to Todd Simpson that I can finally rest at night; In knowing that, were I to be hit by a bus tomorrow morning, my daughter would know someday how hard her Father fought for her future - and how much her Father loved her.
