Michael (and Josh) were exactly what I was looking for! I had a previous attorney that would not listen to me and it cost me so much anxiety, stress, frustration, and money. These guys listened to me, provided guidance, and took me out of things that I didn't need to be involved in which let me breathe and not freak out unnecessarily. My case was complex and difficult to prove. I wasn't sure I would find someone that could help me but Michael did just that! Can't recommend them enough!

Short Story: Hire Michael Alvarez with confidence. Easy to work with, responsive and knowledgeable, you can’t hire better at any price. My vindictive ex used her mom’s money to hire ‘the best divorce atty in AZ’ who pulled every trick in the book, dragging out proceedings for 2+years. Mike parachuted in 30 days before trial, quickly reviewed the case and skillfully rebutted and addressed all the issues, and achieved an ideal result. So despite my ex outspending me by 8x, Alvarez & Barreda Law was the right answer at the right price and highly recommended.

I came into this custody battle with no knowledge and low hopes as I did not understand how things would work out. Michael and his team put my mind at ease and worked with me diligently to make sure I would be able to have 50/50 custody of my child. Michael was an asset to us, as we have had a long battle with making sure our grandson was in a safe, loving environment. We have been through Family Court and Juvenile Court (the third DCS case) Michael came on board with us and in 11 short months we were able to get resolution and permanency. I feel the asset because, his knowledge, he was able to navigate through all the parties involved the legal system as well as DCS and communicate with them in a timely manner which brought resolution.
