I can honestly say Terry was amazing. She got my time with my kids back. It was a battle but in the end my parenting time was granted. If you are looking for someone who will fight for you Terry is the one.

This may be a little lengthy but I just want anyone who is ever in a situation and needing legal help to know that Terry Smith and her team is at the top of the list of Lawyers to seek help from. After 4 years of my daughter fighting to regain custody of her 5 year old daughter, Terry and her team has proven there is a light at the end of the tunnel. After miss-representation from 2 other lawyers and thousands of dollars wasted in legal fees we finally found a lawyer who was willing to do their job and help the client like they are being paid to do. I felt the other lawyers were only interested in collecting money. They never seemed go above and beyond like Terry and her team. I will admit I would have loved to see Terry in action at court since I heard how tough and determined she can be but I am 100% thankful that an agreement was made at mediation therefore eliminating one more stress of court. Terry and her team are worth every penny spent. They responded to my daughter's questions quickly and truly seemed to care and have empathy for our family. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting Terry or her team since I live in Maine and my daughter is in AZ, but I have heard a lot about them and want to thank each and every one of them for the outstanding job of representing my daughter and believing in her and getting her daughter back. You all are truly a blessing to our family. Money well spent!!

I went in for a consultation,Terry and her staff were super helpful made me feel at ease with my situation. Terry and her staff went way above and beyond to help me print and fill out paper work. I went in a mess and came out a little more confident with my situation. I'd highly recommend Terry and her staff if I could give them10 stars I would.

My fiancé and I worked with Terry on different child custody cases and we both had great results! Terry is very prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. She was always very honest with me throughout my case, and she is amazing in court! Her fees were very reasonable also. The rest of the office staff was always very polite and courteous. I would definitely recommend this law office to anyone.

Terry and Candace were both amazing. After years of going through several attorneys being dominated by my ex’s extremely aggressive attorney, Terry was able to outsmart and out maneuver her. She was just to sharp for my ex’s attorney and essentially trapped her. Candace was unbelievably amazing as well and continued to be supportive and come up with clever ideas to pin down my ex’s attorney. THEY proposed a settlement for the first time in five years lol. Trust me, do not go through anyone else, Terry is a powerful force, she’s noooooo joke. Hire her before your ex does.

My divorce was very contentious and difficult. I do not know how I would have made it through the process if it were not for the support of Terry Bays Smith. I felt like she really cared what happened to me and how I was handling every step. She was also "cost conscious" and did everything she could to block my ex-husband from escalating the fees. She is not a typical lawyer and I would highly recommend her to anyone having to go through this period in their life!
