Look no further. Kate is the one! When I knew I was going to have to fight for my child, I had met quite a few different attorneys and none of them ever felt right. Within a few minutes meeting with Kate, I knew she was gonna be the person that I needed to represent me and my son. Simonds Law group is a family practice, so you won’t get lost in the shuffle like some of these big law firms. I truly felt like I was her only client. Anytime I needed anything Kate would respond right away, weekends, nights, holidays, whenever. I worked with her and the paralegal Barbara, who was also awesome, and throughout the entire process I felt like they really had my back. They are both very professional, precise on all filings, important task that need to be done, just the entire process I always felt like I was in good hands. One thing I really appreciated was how easy Kate was to talk to and how brutally honest she was with me. Even with things that I didn’t want to hear. It’s important to be honest with your attorney, and I always felt like I could be myself and honest with her without being judged. Throughout the process she was my attorney, but there were times she was acting as my therapist as well. She never led me wrong throughout this tough time. I just really, really, really appreciate her for that. Going through a custody battle for the first time is something no caring Mother or Father can ever be emotionally prepared for, so I made some mistakes at the beginning that could have really cost me. Kate never once led me on, or gave out false hope just to get more fees, which I’m sure most attorneys will do. At the beginning I felt like it was such an uphill battle, but in the end, I got literally everything that I wanted and I can’t thank Mrs. Simonds enough for that. She helped me and my son more than she will ever know. She was amazing in the court room, amazing with communication, filings, just every aspect. I’ll just say this, I was extremely happy I had her on my side vs the attorney we were up against. She outshined him in every way throughout the entire process. I just always felt like we were one step ahead of the opposition. I really can’t thank her and her paralegal Barbara enough for all the hard work they did for me during the most important time of my life. Hopefully those close to me never have to go through a divorce or child custody case, but I would without a doubt refer them to her if the time arises. I can’t say it enough, Kate and her team were amazing to work with. During the most important time of a persons life, you want the best representation, I absolutely felt like I got that. I hired Kate in April and in five months she was able to finish what my first lawyer was unable to do in 10 months. She was able to untangle the mess he created and basically had to start from scratch. She dealt with the other party's shenanigans with professionalism. She was always professional, quick to respond, and was just overall a blessing. She worked late nights and weekends getting everything in order for court. She's a straight shooter and isn't going to fill your head with unrealistic expectations or false hope. She can explain the legal system to you in a way you can fully understand. She was able to predict the outcome of my case with ease. If she ran for president I'd vote for her.

Great Attorney who was very caring and helpful through my divorce. Chris and his team were always available. I totally recommend Chris Simmonds Law.

This was by far the best choice me and my soon to be ex-wife could have made. We were in the process of doing the divorce ourselves and experience issues turning in our last packet to the court. Kate was so nice and assisted in finishing the last portion of the packet. She provided clear instructions on turning in the last packet and suggested provisions in the case things go bad between me and my ex-wife that we both agreed to.
