I would leave a 6 star review if I could. Without publicly sharing specific details of my case, the opposing party/counsel were very aggressive and worked hard to make things difficult for me. I am so glad I hired Kate! Kate was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. She explained all the difficult legal concepts very clearly, helped me make the best decisions, and methodically managed my case to a resolution that I was completely satisfied with. The value she provided was worth many, many times the cost to have her represent me. If you need a good family attorney, in my book Kate is second to none. I highly recommend her and this firm.

If I could give Kate a higher rating I would. Kate came recommended and I’m super happy she was. Went through a divorce, mediated it out in late 2022. It’s a tough process mentally. With all the unknowns in a divorce I never felt I was in the wrong hands. If I ever felt I was on that proverbial cliff, she always had the knowledge and words to set me at ease. That mediation day she took charge and basically directed the whole process, super impressed… Let’s face it, divorce is a lose lose situation but at the end of it i feel it was the best outcome to allow both parties to move forward. Having Kate in my corner was a total win and even feel i gained a friend if we ever happen to run into each other here on the west side. She even checked up months after everything was final. Absolutely don’t think you’d get that anywhere else. She covers the spread, knowledgeable, professional, personable, above and beyond.. thank you again Kate.

I highly recommend Simmons law group to anyone who cares about their rights with their children. I was terrified about what was happening with my child and his mother. When I went and saw Kate the 1st time, she laid out all the facts with no bs. She told me what my options were and how to go about it. thankfully we were able to resolve things fairly quickly and now I have rights to my son. thanks again Kate.

I worked with Kate over a year ago and I would not recommend her for a divorce lawyer. She is very good at paperwork, but did not work on getting me the best settlement. When you are going through a divorce, you just want out and you really need an attorney that will fight for you and do what is best for you now and in the future. It is an emotional time and you really need someone on your side. I was so frustrated in trying to get Kate to fight for me, I contacted opposing council to tell him we were not giving in anymore. For attorneys they are done when the papers are signed, for you, you have a lifetime of living on less and trying to support children. I just urge you to do your research and take what any attorney says at the initial call with a grain of salt. What I was told on the initial call was opposite of the reality. Try to find an attorney that you have seen the results rather than on what they tell you they will do. It isn’t an easy time and you will thank yourself later for taking the time to find the right person to fight for you.

Simonds law group truly takes the fear out of all things family law. Kate has been the best thing to ever happen in my parenting situation. I’m no longer always worrying about what might happen or could happen, I know I can trust that she will give me the best and most beneficial legal advice and representation. She’s straight to the point and she is strong. Kate, Chris, and Barbara are a joy to work with! Highly recommend!

Kate is nothing less than fantastic. Family court is complicated and frightening, but Kate’s guidance and expertise is empowering. She won’t waste your time or money and has a great team working with her. Thru two separate cases, Kate walked me thru my options and possible outcomes. One she kept out of court altogether and the second she won in court. Having seen her during a trial, it is obvious she is an experienced litigator whom doesn’t back down. I just want to start off by saying I never do any reviews but my experience with divorced in a day was exceptional Getting divorced is heartbreaking and emotional but Kate and Chris made the process almost painless I would recommend them to anyone!
