Pros
1
Skilled and professional in handling divorce mediation
“Annette Burns handled our divorce mediation in a very skilled and professional way. I didn't think we had a chance of settling our issues, but working with Annette was a pleasure.”
2
Knowledgeable and able to help clients think outside the box for solutions
“I believe she knows her stuff - she's been doing this for awhile and was able to help me and my ex-husband think outside the box for solutions.”
3
Maintained professionalism and did not get overly involved emotionally
“She didn't tell me what I wanted to hear. She didn't allow herself to become my therapist. She did not 'troll around in the mud' as my ex-spouses several attorneys did.”
Cons
1
Lack of dedication and thoroughness in decision-making as a parenting coordinator
“I found her judgment, dedication and thoroughness before making decisions to be lacking. The best testament I can give to the quality of her work is the fact that out of the four total recommendations she submitted in our case, THREE of them were overturned by the judge.”
2
Unresponsive to emails and phone calls unless related to billing
“She did not return emails or phone calls in a timely manor unless it was related to billing. She rarely assisted me in my case but continued to charge me large amounts.”
3
High hourly rate with unsatisfactory service
“At a cost of $300 per hour, Annette Burns provided nothing but disappointment. I(we) are still trying to resolve matters that were handled extremely unprofessionally and certainly unsatisfactorily by Annette Burns.”
