So first off I want to give a BIG THANKS to Cindy and everyone at the firm especially Cara! The one that stood for me, she and everyone else has been great! If anyone reading this has ANY hesitation on hiring, take this review as a sign to hire! I was in a serious case with multiple felony charges, and horrible sentences I could be facing and man was I stressing! Did endless research on attorneys and looked to see what their grade was and if they had any bad doing. Amazing ratings on Cindy, even recommended by other attorneys! Everyone at the firm was so helpful and probably got annoyed by how much I called but it was for good reason haha, they are all so polite and helpful and they are so easy to reach! Felt Like having a lawyer on standby with a press of a button with how fast Cindy picks up, she even answers on the weekends personally! She worked along side Cara who was the main attorney on my case and she is AMAZING! She Really addressed all my concerns, let me know exactly what was happening with my case at all times and letting me know what she’s working on and if things went south, what she would want to do in that circumstance. I called so much, but she continued to reassure me that I’ll be alright and she’s got my back. She kept me in the loop at all times, I will 1,000 percent recommend this firm! I must have talked to a dozen lawyers when deciding what firm to hire. Cindy is the only one that seems like she actually cared about helping me better my future and moving on from my last mistakes with dignity. Most of the other attorneys simple spoke of their success rate and then gave me an estimate that almost sent me to represent myself in the matter I needed help with. The Castillo law firm is very professional but also very caring and understanding. I can tell throughout all of my interactions that the people I work with at the firm care about how my case can affect my future. In my case, we are requesting 4 judgements to be set aside. My case is a little bit more complicated then most set aside cases because of some other motions we had to file before we could file the set aside motions. From the first communication I had, this firm was the 2nd best estimate I got on my case but also the one I felt would take my case the most seriously judging my my initial 45 minute phone call with Cindy while I was still deciding what firm to hire. They even worked with me with the price and charged less than what I had expected originally. It is clear that this firm is not motivated by money but instead by serving their clients and practicing law to help people who have made mistakes. The fees are more than reasonable for their competence. In addition, they are very thorough. Even during the covid 19 pandemic they have been right on the ball. We are still going through the process of finalizing my set asides but we had positive results in the formerly submitted motions and I can say that so far they are 10 stars of 5. Even if we had received bad news on the first motions we filed, I would have been confident that the firm had done everything they could to get a positive ruling. Megan is the paralegal that primarily works on my case and submits the work to Cindy and she has done a wonderful job and she is always responsive.
