David Black, name says it all. First name David like the Magician is magic. And well his last name, well you know Black just sounds like someone you don't want to deal with. Seriously, though. I needed a defense lawyer and it doesn't really matter for what. the deal was I shop online, commercials, made lots of phone calls to attorneys that where from big firm to small, lots. David was the most honest one out there when it came to the money part of hiring him. And was willing to work with me with when it came to that part. Was always easy to deal with and his staff Laura, Steve and Bill were awesome in helping me through this time. And back to the honest part. David got my case dismissed, could have charged me more money to finish my case, but did not. I pray none of us need David. But if for some reason you do. GO WITH David Black! Chad Russell

I was cited with a criminal ticket in a justice court in Maricopa County. David was able to get the prosecutor to change the charge to a civil ticket. We were referred to Mr. Black by a friend who had used his services previously. He was surprisingly helpful about the Arizona court processes, very competitive in his fees and knowledgeable in all aspects of defense. Coming from California, we weren't prepared for the strange traffic laws and various ways that Arizona uses to add points to your license for offenses that in other states do not carry high point penalties that can affect your driver's license. David's knowledge of the Arizona courts, rules and statutes pulled us through a difficult situation and several tickets. Extremely helpful and efficient in resolving several legal matters (both civil and criminal) for us over the past year, we found him to be very accessible to his clients. This took the stress out of preparing for and appearing in court, going to trial, and ultimately achieving a full dismissal of a criminal traffic matter. He did his homework and it paid off, saving my son's driver's license and his livelihood in the process. I was arrested in Mesa and was scared to death. I'd never been in trouble before and had no idea what to do or who to call or even what to expect. After calling a few other offices I tried calling David Black. I was surprised after having gotten only answering services that he actually answered the phone. Within minutes I felt as if I was talking to a friend. He spoke to me without judgement or detachment. He took time out of his busy schedule to talk to me right then and listened to what I had to say. He explained everything step by step, what I could expect, what may happen and what my next steps should or could be, but most of all he helped me relax in the most scary and stressful time in my whole life. I wasn't prepared for something like this to happen as I'm sure no one is but found his fees to be very reasonable and more affordable than most. Graciously, he offers payment plans and never makes anything about the money. He stayed with me step for step through the whole process and didn't ever make me feel like I was being led blindly into anything. I knew what to expect, what would be said, how it would be said every time I had to deal with the court system. He was always available for my questions but working with him I felt comfortable the whole time and didn't have to worry about what to do or what I should be doing because he explained everything in detail the whole time. I can't say how thankful I am that I found Mr. Black. In a searching for a needle in a haystack situation I am lucky that he was there. I recommend him hands down to anyone needing a criminal lawyer for anything not only because of his expertise but his affordability and honest, good nature. I thought all lawyers were wolves in sheep's clothing but I have definitely been proved wrong. It could have been a long bad road and instead it was the best possible outcome I could have expected.

Very pleased. He actually cared. This guy knows criminal law. He explained things all the way thru and took my calls. He recently handled a personal injury matter for me, and the result was as good as I could have hoped for. As a lawyer turned musician myself, I always go to Dave with my legal needs. Horrible. I had a time frame to do something and they said they would get back to me that day. They didn't and left me hanging which put me in a really tight spot. I even called back to remind them of my time schedule and said if they can't do it they need to let me know and they assured me they would take care of it.
