Pros
1
Highly experienced and knowledgeable DUI attorney who provides an honest, upfront assessment of the case and negotiates favorable plea deals
“Attorney Sloan is highly recommended for those who need an honest upfront assessment of your case, want to save the hassles of being misled by tons of other expensive lawyers in the city and most importantly, reduce the conviction to the minimum degree after a well-thought out negotiation/plea deal arrangement with the prosecution.”
2
Affordable flat fee model with flexible payment options, which is a relief for clients
“His affordable flat fee model, with installment options was such a relief!”
3
Attentive and responsive to client inquiries, providing quick updates via text or email
“Very diligent throughout the entire process and very responsive each time, within a few minutes over the text if he was not tied up in the court.”
4
Provides guidance and advice to help clients prepare for the legal process, showing a genuine commitment to their case
“His advice of finishing up some classes and counseling formalities well ahead of time showed such a good faith in the court and also it helped me get them out of the way before the actual conviction.”
5
Represents clients in court without requiring their presence, minimizing disruption to their daily life
“Very hands off approach as he attended all the hearings without me going to the court, except for the final one.”
Cons
1
Lack of communication and coordination between the attorney and the Department of Motor Vehicles (MVD) can lead to misinformation and unexpected outcomes
“The MVD advise a minimum of 36 months with the SR”
2
No exceptions. My husband was expecting one week suspension then the ability to get a restricted drivers license but it's actually a month suspension and more steps through the MVD."
“Just a warning the MVD and courts/lawyers do not communicate at all so anything after the court case that the lawyer mentions is not accurate. Please reach out to the MVD separately of the lawyers advisements to have all accurate information/procedures to not waste hundreds of dollars like we did.”
