I called today looking to schedule a consultation but the gal on the other end of the phone told me "that isn't how it works" so I asked to please tell me how the process went... to which she hung up on me. I tried to call back twice and she picked up and hung up the line without saying anything . 0/10 For class and professionalism.

Shawn and his staff were ALWAYS so helpful. They always answered all our questions and with great attitude and attention. I changed my mind last minute and the atty was very angry. Dark sense of humor and kind of cringe. I just didn’t get a good feeling after some time. Sure, I needed the help, but I’m not going to get help from someone that is disrespectful when they don’t get what they want. It’s kind of off putting.

This office has become super complacent. I think all these reviews went to their heads. Many small mistakes were made throughout my case and are still happening. They missed documents that were uploaded and even lost some of my documents at one point. If you have a small case, beware. They complained several times to me that they have other cases with "thousands of documents" and that's why they were making mistakes. It seems like they take on more than they can handle. Stone will work very hard to get you to sign that dotted line. After that you're mostly going to be on your own. Overpriced for what you'll actually get. A year later they're still sending things to my old address even though I updated with them months ago. Thank goodness the post office still works.

Very "Salesy" process. Didn't do what was promised in the intial contacts. Wasn't willing to work toward a mutual solution. Was very focused on obtaining very precise personal information vs actually addressing the issue in a consultation as promised in writing and on phone and refused to discuss/disclose why specific questions were asked. Totally wasted my time. Hopefully you find an attorney with a better approach. ----- Reading the attorney's response, - it's about what I expected. Publicly-facing one way, and not in line with the actual interactions. I answered all but one question (income) and even that one I offered to respond with enough accuracy to be able to provide the promised consultation. I was met with a condescending, dismissive tone by both the sales lead person and eventually the attorney. Their goal of "exceeding expectations" was 100% absent, with zero effort toward a solution.

I was solicitated by a company that was instructed to get in contact with me regarding an active order (affidavit) that is being issued for my location. This alleged issue was regarding an attempt to collect a debt that had already been cleared. The caller stated that they were going to either serve this order to my address or will be contacting my place of employment to have it served there. They provided a case number and a contact number for me to get in touch with them. Something obviously did not seem right with this scenario, so instead of dealing with this issue, I decided to contact Attorney Shawn Stone’s office for some legal assistance. After reviewing the information with Attorney Stone, he contacted this solicitor and acted on my behalf and determined immediately that this was a scam.
