Van O’Steen and his law firm bring to mind these qualities: Experienced, Expert, Thorough, and Tenacious in serving their client’s interests. That’s what I learned when they took on a relative's case against a firm that had fraudulently taken unauthorized fees from his bank account through automatic withdrawal, when he was in college and needed the funds to pay his tuition. My high regard for this firm rose even further when I witnessed Jon O’Steen in court, calmly but relentlessly cross-examining the expert witness for an insurance company, exposing errors that brought a big judgment for Jon’s client. On top of all that, Van and the other attorneys in this law firm are plain easy to talk to: friendly, good listeners, and eager to help. When friends ask me for references to a personal injury law firm, this one is always at the top of my list.

I don’t feel that Ward and Carlos had my best interests at heart. I feel they didn’t believe me. I came to them because I needed their help but left feeling they did the bare minimum to get me out of their hair. Even the mediator made comments that they should consider bringing the action to court and they dismissed him. It was a terrible experience. I would not recommend them to anyone.
