I was very intimidated at the prospect of having to contact a personal injury lawyer. I learned very close to the end of the statute of limitations on my auto accident claim that the injuries I had sustained were surgical in nature and would thus draw out the claim process longer than what was left. I needed help navigating the settling of the insurance claim. I quickly learned after contacting Jon O'Steen that I needn't have worried. He and the staff at O'Steen and Harrison quickly put me at ease and made me feel confident that my claim would be handled fairly, justly, and with my best interests as a priority. I wasn't out to "sue the pants off" anyone and never felt like this is how my legal matter was dealt with. I simply wanted the insurance (the accident was 100% the other driver's fault) to pay for my incurred medical treatment plus a fair amount of pain and suffering. That is what Jon was able to do for me. I never felt that they were trying to give my case unsubstantiated merit in order to get more than what was fair from the other guy. They were clear up front about what was at issue with my claim and how it would be justly handled by the firm. I was treated as a priority by the staff each time I called with a question or concern about the progress of my case. My calls were quickly returned by Jon himself and I appreciated the attention with which he answered my questions about the complicated legal issues in play as we went through the settlement process. I highly recommend Chase Rassmusen! He handled my car accident claim and did an amazing job!! Chase took the time to talk to me as a human, often times attorney's are uptight and tend to give you the legal verbiage. Chase talks to you so you understand everything fully and goes to bat with the insurance companies to get the most money possible when settling. Chase and his entire staff were always friendly and very knowledgeable. I never felt I was bugging them and they were always prompt returning any calls with questions I had. I still call Chase for any legal issues I have just because of how he handled my car accident. While stopped at a crosswalk, I was rear-ended by an uninsured motorist who was texting, traveling at 45 mph. At Abrazo PV Hospital, they determined that I had a concussion, as well as severe back, neck and shoulder trauma. Considering the person that hit me had no insurance, immediately after my release from the hospital, my father took me to see Van and Jonathan O'Steen, at O'Steen and Harrison, with whom my father has a 40-year business relationship. Dad said the O'Steens are the best, and he was sure I would receive first-class, personal service. I signed with them, and from that point Jonathan handled everything, first of all by assuring me that I would be covered 100% by the uninsured motorist coverage in my own auto policy, and, most importantly by telling me not to worry, that he would take care of all the details. Over the next several months, he monitored all of my medical issues, tests, doctor and specialists visits and follow-ups, physical therapy, and all of the expenses. My insurance company initially wanted to total my car; however, it was paid for, and I had no desire to start over with payments on another vehicle, so Jonathan convinced them to repair it. Every time I called the office, I was able to speak with Jon or his assistant - I never had to leave a message. In the end, my health has been restored, all of my expenses have been paid, my car has been repaired, and I received a very fair settlement from the insurance company - all that, and I never had to worry about anything. Dad was right - like father, like son: first-class, personal service all the way. Thanks, Jon, if I could give you 6 stars, I would.
