I have been impressed with the experience of having Aaron as my attorney, and it takes a lot to impress me. From the moment that I contacted him he was on the case and working for the best possible outcome. He always made sure I knew what was going on and what to expect every step of the way before I even needed to ask. I would recommend Aaron to anyone needing a criminal defense attorney and will not hesitate to call him if I am ever in need of an attorney to defend me in a criminal case. I was referred to Aaron Black by a friend who had used his services and was confident that he would be able to help us . He came highly recommended and when I contacted him, I immediately felt at ease and knew that we had made the right choice. A family member was charged with an extreme DUI. These charges were originally filed as a felony with a BAC of .20 and Aaron was able to have the State agree to a .15 DUI and reduced to a misdemeanor. Aaron was also key to keeping the fines to a minimum and was able to reduce the jail time to a minimum of two days. He also prepared us with all the required classes and made sure that these were completed prior to the court date. He was fully prepared for every hearing and took care of everything for us . I landed on Aaron Blacks page after making a terrible mistake one night. I interviewed several lawyers who all wanted me to come in, pay a retainer, and told me to start with them right away without really listening to what was going on. Aaron stood out above all of them. During the first phone call he listened carefully, intently, and told me the truth of my situation right from the start. Once I received paperwork from the state I called him back right away. I was able to retain all of my rights. He got ten days in jail reduced to one, and also got my probation cut in half to a year. It was the best outcome I could hope for. I hired Aaron based on his reviews, and it turned out to be a perfect choice. He defended my son with integrity and skill, and went well beyond my expectations. The best part about Aaron is that he works alone, no big firm, no paralegals, not even a secretary. That means he's constantly available in person, without intermediaries, and he answers promptly his text messages, emails, and phone calls. The reason why he can manage all his work by himself is that he's very efficient and knows perfectly well what to do. He even went beyond my son's legal needs to help him with resources for mental treatment, and in the end he wrapped everything up quickly and with minimal impact. Aaron was referred by a good friend whom is also an attorney. He was recommended as the best and she was not wrong. He handled my case professionally from the start. He answered every call, email, or text quickly. He was able to keep my punishment to the minimum. My case was reduced from extreme DUI with a .18 BAC to regular DUI by finding issues with the blood testing and collection, jail went from 30 days to one night in jail and 4 days home detention, fines reduced from a base of $2700 to a base of $1500, and had me prepared for court with everything finished. The dmv required interlock will be reduced from 12 months to possibly 6 months. I appreciate all of his hard work and for this to finally be over.

He was able to get my case reduced from a second time extreme DUI (120 straight days in jail) to a first time extreme, jail went from 120 days to 15 days, reduced fine, community service etc. I was able to work with Aaron directly (he did not hand my case off to an associate, like other attorneys sometimes do.) He was upfront and honest with me from the get go and was always reachable and called/emailed back promptly. Aaron was referred to us by another criminal defense lawyer and we could not have had a better experience, given the circumstances. Aaron was 100% professional, great communicator and not once did we feel unclear about what was happening in our case. He kept the punishment to the minimum and had the case reduced from mandatory prison to probation. There was no jail time and we got less probation than requested by the state and probation department. The felony will be reduced to a misdemeanor. Aaron was excellent, professional, and available whenever I needed him. Getting through this process was made a whole lot easier with his guidance, assistance, and efforts to best serve me and my case. He was able to drop my charges from an extreme dui case to a minimum charge dui. My charges were reduced by over $1000 in fines, prepared me with getting ahead on any classes I was required to take, reduced jail time to 1 night, and reduced interlock to 6 months (down from 1 year). About a year ago I put myself into an awkward situation with the law where I complied and admitted guilt to being inebriated while operating a vehicle. My first mistake, was being at the scene when service patrol arrived, my second, was admitting guilt whilst my car was completely inoperable. I doubt you’ll read this in time when you find yourself in search for a criminal defense attorney, and in the case that you are in need of one. I cannot recommend any better attorney for serious defense cases other than Aaron Black. Should be spelled (triple) AAA-ron because that’s how well he covered my case, even when it seemed as though I gave him a pretty weak standpoint for him to argue on my end. He meticulously fought and represented me in the traditional arts of maritime law and practices. I didn’t even have to show up until the last stand. What can I say? He did what he was supposed to, he got the job done, while impressing both the judge and I at the same time. I went from a DUI with two accounts, possible jail time, interlock, and possibly more. To simply pleading guilty for reckless driving and having to pay minor court fees!! Albeit, its tough to put a price on freedom.
