After consulting with several lawyers in Arizona, I hired Mr. Califano twice after a false arrest in Arizona. I'm very selective when I hire anyone and from the first time that I spoke to him, I knew he was the right one. He's incredibly patient, respectful, honest and easy to work with. He is a brilliant attorney who is incredibly responsive. I retained him to navigate the new law ARS 13 911 and he did an outstanding job and we had a successful outcome. I’m very greatful for Kris’ help. I received a criminal speeding ticket and an open container ticket. Kris was able to get the ticket reduced to a normal speeding ticket and the open container dropped completely. He was extremely resonable with what he charged me (I couldn’t afford much and he worked with me to find a fee I could afford). He was very clear and responsive in all his communication. Got charged with a felony in AZ while living in the east coast. I Contacted Chris and explained my situation. He walked me through the process on what will happen and what the most realistic outcome of my case would be. As this was my first charge ever in my life he assured me that jail time was very very small and he was right. After 3 visits to the courthouse I ended up taking a plea of 18 months probation w/ 100 hr community service. (Prosecutor wanted 2.5 years probation and some jail time in the beggining) on the plus side, I was able to leave AZ on the same day of my final hearing. Very thankful that Chris was the one that I hired to defend me. He knows what he is doing and he gets right to the point. I highly recommend Chris to anyone that is in trouble with the law in AZ. Mr. Califano handled my case with the utmost professionalism while showing a compassion for me as a person. He drastically improved on my situation by getting my charges reduced to the best possible scenario. In 2015, I was being wrongfully accused and was incredibly scared. Although I knew my hands were clean, being at the wrong place and time didn't help. Not to mention their was a felon with an extensive record that was coerced by the police to name everyone, so that they could walk away. It was a horrible experience and I felt like dying.
