After consulting with 3 other attorneys regarding my DUI case I chose Mr. Califano. He was up front about the fees, explained the process, and provided options. Other attorneys even praised Mr. Califano stating what a good attorney he was and that they would recommend him. No lawyer can promise you anything. He gave me information and guidance that helped me in making decisions about the options I had. Mr. Califano has high integrity and worked very hard on my case. He always returned my email or call when I had questions. We ended up going to trial and I was very impressed with his knowledge of the law and his personalized attention to my case. He worked very hard and I would have been satisfied with any outcome given his performance. He really fought for me and never gave up. He ensured I was aware of what was happening and my rights. Kris and staff helped me with a DUI charge that spanned across three states and took over a year and a half to resolve. Via skillful negotiating, his team was able to have the charge reduced to reckless driving, which saved me from having a felony record and an interlock device in my car.
