Unfortunately I was in need a criminal defense after being questioned by police. I consider myself a relatively intelligent individual. I came in for questioning wanting to avoid the embarrassment of potentially being arrested and having a mugshot posted online. I was very careful in my responses to law enforcement. Well now I see why lawyers strongly advise against not evoking your right to remain silent when being questioned without an attorney present. Regardless of my careful responses to questions vocalized by the assigned detective, the police report reflected a significantly varied version of my responses to the questions asked. Now parts of the report were accurate, however significant details were greatly altered in favor of the detective of course including the part were I reportedly admitted guilt, which never happened. Of course the burden is on the defense to refute the detailing errors in the report. The next day I opted to hire an attorney for peace of mind. It wasn't until approximately 5 months later I was mailed a direct complaint charging me with a felony. Now I know it is difficult to have to part with money to pay for attorneys however think about it in terms of the future. You can make up whatever money you have to pay. However if you are convicted, that will likely have long lasting negative effects on a person's life particularly obtaining or maintaining quality employment. Well after numerous hearings back and forth Mr. Michael Rothman was able to obtain for me a felony diversion that after I abide by the agreement my case will be dismissed with prejudice with no criminal record. Now everyone's case is going to be different my point is that I had an attorney that really pushed to get the best possible deal out of circumstances. Also thank you to Ms. Rivas to keeping me informed of my court dates and apprised of any additional information pertaining to my case. Thank you again Mr. Rothman

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Horrible service!! I called b/c I have a computer issue and Brent, the non-attorney intake guy, was awful. He was rude; he wouldn't listen. He said that you don't do civil law, but personal injury is civil law. He said that if I don't want to hire you, i can call the Bar and hung up on me! I called back to talk about Brent's terrible service, and Angelica told me that an attorney could call me later with a quote, like I'm getting my house painted. Nobody really cared about the issue or the way I was treated. This is a very stressful thing, and I am blessed that I don't need payment plans; I just need an aggressive attorney who knows about computers. I would never hire a law firm that doesn't care about clients!

My son was arrested end of last year and I found Suzuki law online . We did not know him from Adam but Mr.Suzuki got my son out of jail with in 12 hours and kept him from doing any jail time. The crime was a hand full of felony's and he got my son unsupervised probation! it was a blessing, we would recommend Suzuki law everyday of the week!!
