I am genuinely surprised that Colburn Hintze Maletta has received only 5-star reviews, given the experience I had with them. I chose this firm based on their positive reputation, but my personal experience was far from satisfactory. From the start, I was concerned when I did not hear from my direct lawyer, Jessica, and instead communicated with a case manager named Indira. When I finally met via webcam with Jessica to discuss my case’s outcome, I found her demeanor to be less than kind after I had told them how I felt. Unlike other lawyers I’ve worked with, who typically assist with tasks like contacting towing companies or helping with transportation, Jessica and her team were notably unhelpful unless I was upset or having to call them about my concerns. Given that I nearly lost my life, I expected more support and empathy. Instead, I felt that Colburn Hintze Maletta was more interested in financial gain than in genuinely addressing my needs. They seemed to use reverse psychology and did not keep me informed about the case's progress unless I contacted them. After the case was resolved, I suspect that they were delaying the release of my settlement check. If you’re dealing with a personal injury or car accident case, I would advise you to carefully reconsider your choice of legal representation and do thorough research to ensure that your needs are prioritized.
