He was cost conscious asking me, if I wanted to pay for a deposition or pass due to costs? I left that chose to Rich who chose yes and I'm glad he did. The deposition appeared to have increased the settlement in mediation quite significantly. Rich was obviously very well prepared for the deposition with a good retention of the facts and issues supporting my claim. I am not an Attorney but my two kids are so I get it. Richard is a superb lawyer with the experience, and skill to find the Achilles heel of the case, drive hard into it to obtain a very favorable settlement. One of my companies had a complex multidefendant construction case which was filed by Sacks Tierney, PA., a firm by which I was very disappointed. Richard took the case over on the eve of trial, got up to speed very efficiently, filed a barrage of pretrial pleadings, and forced a very favorable resolution in mediation. Richard is a good example of how every trial lawyer should conduct themselves. I would give him six stars if that was an option.

Rich had the courage to pursue compensation from another lawyer who had made major & costly mistakes in my representation. No other attorney was willing to go against one of their peers in a clear case of Malpractice. Rich clearly saw the issues, made a clear and concise demand, with thorough documentation, to the attorney and then reached a reasonable settlement with the Malpractice Insurance Company on my behalf. He offered a reasonable fee structure and I could not be happier with his representation. I only wish that I had been introduced to him several years earlier and had him in my corner before I met this other attorney. I absolutely endorse Richard Gramlich. He is smart, knowledgeable, experienced and explains things quickly, thoroughly and in a way that a layperson can understand. And....he is tough with the opposition. I hired Rich because my first lawyer was lacking in some of the above-mentioned qualities, most notably being tough with the opposition. I’m grateful I found Rich and I believe that without his representation I would have been ruined financially. That being said, the best course of action is NOT to get involved in a lawsuit in the first place if you can possibly avoid it. It is a losing proposition for an individual consumer/plaintiff and when your attorney and other professionals tell you that you won’t be “made whole” – believe them. After building my house with a reputable builder I discovered a substantial construction defect that the builder was unable (and unwilling) to fix. After months of frustrating and fruitless conversations with the builder, I hired an attorney. After over two years of even more frustrating and expensive motions, talks, calls and forensic tests, it was clear that my attorney was in over his head. Rich was recommended by other professionals involved with my case. He came on board and immediately took control, explained everything to me in plain English (so I could easily understand what was happening and what my options were) and did so quickly (important when conversations are being timed and billed by the hour). After almost three years since the discovery of the construction defect, I finally had an advocate who was not only willing, but ABLE to fight for my rights and legal protections. It was another year before the case finally ended. Although in the end, I lost a substantial amount of money, I recognize that without Rich’s help the financial devastation would have been much, much worse. Once again, Rich was a strong advocate, smart and he truly saved the day.
