Sonja represented a close friend of mine recently on a criminal case, and, being a close friend of the defendant, I was regularly involved throughout the entire proceedings. The defendant had had a history of multiple felonies and two prior incarcerations. Through Sonja's diligent efforts, she was able to negotiate an unusually favorable plea that called for a minimal sentence when all factors were considered. And while obviously no one can guarantee an outcome for any particular case, Sonja's efforts were clearly key to achieving this resolution. Sonja is a fighter. She cares about her clients, and this is evident in her demeanor, her efforts, and how she engages with them.
