After many hours of researching and contacting attorneys, I made an appointment with Mr. Simmons, so glad I did! My 17 year old son got into trouble with the law, and Jefferson Simmons was able to very quickly get the charges dropped and into the diversion program. We were told it would take 6 months. From the time we hired him, until the time we were done it was less than a month. He not only was half the price of many attorneys we talked with, but was so knowledgeable and kind. He took the time to talk with my son, explain what the laws are, and offer him advice for his future. Having trouble with our teens is always painful, to say the least, but Jefferson made the process so much easier. I have given his name to everyone I know! Facing a charge that I simply do not want on my record, I immediately contacted Jefferson, as he had proven himself in the past with somebody that I am close to. Jefferson was honest and did not oversell me on false hope. An excellent communicator, he kept me in the loop every step of the way, and ultimately was able to get my case totally dismissed. I recently retained Mr. Simmons to represent me in a matter that was unfortunately blown out of proportion by the state. I was accused of aggravated assault with a firearm and aggravated assault on a police officer and was facing anywhere between 5-15 years in prison with a mandatory 5 years if convicted due to the dangerous allegation. Mr Simmons was extremely persistent in his negotiations with the prosecutor and in the end managed to negotiate a fair middle ground to 45 days in jail, 200 hours community restitution, & 18 months probation. Jefferson knew how important it was to me to keep my background free of any felonies as I maintain a professional license in property & casualty insurance thru the state. He was able to accomplish this by negotiating an Undesignated plea wherefore upon completion of probation the offenses would be designated misdemeanors. I would highly recommend Jefferson for any criminal matter as he has clearly shown his expertise and willingness to be your voice during an incredibly stressful time. I pray that I never have to but if I was ever in any kind of trouble ever again Jefferson would be the first person I'd call.

I had the unfortunate experience of facing 5-7 years in prison, fortunately, Jefferson Simmons didn't back down. He worked out the best possible scenario to 10 months of prison time. Even better though, he walked me through every step of way. Talking to me in realities and the pros and cons of different decisions. I'm out now and am thankful.
