I paid the fee to talk to a lawyer because I did not know who was keeping me from registering my vehicle. Time was getting close and I was stressed. Mr. Fuerst was worth every penny! Just by asking questions, calming me down, and what it could NOT possibly be I was able to think about it and figure it out. Just a ticket with one payment made late! That late fee was keeping me from being able to register my car. What I thought was going to cost $1000's was a mere $65.00. Thank you Nicholas! Sorry if I was a nut case......

He was honest about the information and provided other contacts that might help me further.

I engaged Mr. Fuerst Oct 2012 for a simple case. He did not complete the filing in spite of being ordered by the judge to do so one year later. He didn't return my calls in spite of commitments to do so by specified dates. He did not file my case correctly yet did not communicate to me if he was not competent with the subject matter of the case if that was the barrier to proper filing. He did not execute on legal filings in a timely fashion and when done did not do so properly as noted above. He provided me with inaccurate information (would commit to completing a filing but did not do so when I called to follow up). I had to discharge him due to utter frustration and exasperation related to his unprofessional conduct. My new lawyer completed the task in 30 days! I recommend avoiding this lawyer if you desire prompt service, professional, trustworthy communication and dependable follow-through. Unfortunately you will not find any of these desirable qualities if you retain this lawyer.

If you just want to get it over with, he's the attorney for you. If you need someone to hold your hand through the ordeal, he is not the guy for you. He IS knowledgeable since he only does bankruptcies, but, he was cold and difficult to reach. He was professional and punctual at every appointment and didn't waste time. Like any attorney or business person, he is there to get paid, so he is harder to reach as the other reviews state once he gets paid. However, it is one man, not 5 different people like other firms.

Mr. Fuerst seemed knowledgeable and helpful at first. Once he received his money and the case had been filed it became very difficult to communicate with him. He is not responsive to e-mails or phone calls. One year after filing and making payments, the Trustee filed a motion to cancel our bankruptcy on grounds that Mr. Fuerst did not file the appropriate forms. The court gave him 30 days to respond. He assured us the requested forms would be filed. To no surprise he did not and our case was thrown out. His excuse “he had us confused with another client”. We were able to have our case reinstated but we had to deal with creditors calling until then. It is still difficult to get a response from him. Please be cautious of this attorney. A nice person but not thorough and seems uneducated in this field.

finally not one who just wants to 'jump' right in without discussing alternatives. Was really pleased with the personal interest Mr. Fuerst took in our case and helped us every step of the way.

Bait and switch... told us our payments would be a certain amount to the trustee every month, then it changed and went way up. Not responsive to e-mail or phone calls. Very vague details and info at the first appointments, then once you pay the fees, everything changes. Be careful with this one.
