The firm does a fantastic job of guiding you through the process. The caseworkers will work closely with your doctors to and submit all of the evidence in a timely manner. The staff always returns phone calls and is extremely professional. Your questions will be answered in a timely manner and they will assist you in getting the help you deserve.

My name is Tawnii Armijo and I do not normally write reviews unless I feel that they are warranted and essential to the livelihood of a person, in fact in my situation, it is a matter between life and death. Please I am not trying to sound dramatic, but about 6 months ago I was hospitalized in ICU only to find out that I am a 29 year old otherwise healthy woman, or so I thought....diagnosed with congenital heart failure with unfortunately no promise of any tomorrow. I and my family are left with such uncertainty and unfortunately time is not on my side, I am in desperate need of a heart transplant and until then I will need a implanted defibrillator to restart my heart just in case it were to stop in my sleep. The simplest things to others like using the restroom is difficult for me, but I am determined and I want to live and and love my husband and family, I am too young to be going through this. With that said, I researched disability attorneys and Lerner and Rowe was the best and other people I know confirmed this. I know for sure that they are sincere when they say they want to help me and care about me, they put me in contact with SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY ADVOCATES,but my case manager in particularly is who I have the issue with. I have been completely lied to and neglected. I called and signed up with Yvette in early May, and was contacted by Francesca Galvan that a case manager would be assigned to me within 30 days, took 45 days. I was assigned to Barbara Boling, who I understood was out of the office for a few days and because of COVID, and I am sure things have been crazy and believe me I am patient and understand that things happen, but unfortunately I am running out of time. Every time I call or email for an update nothing even as I contacted her assistant she emails me back saying that she would forward my email to Barbara. When I spoke to Barbara she said that she cannot get ahold of anyone at Social Security because they were temporarily closed due to COVID and she sent an email with her direct information. I have emailed, phoned, even asked to speak to client services to both assistance of Ms.Boling and Ms.Boling herself and still nothing. Now here we are in September and I am no better off than I was before. I want to share that I am in more desperate need of my disability because 2 weeks ago I was finally strong enough to get the defibrillator implant, but the day of my surgery, the doctor said he could not continue and to my and my husband's surprise I found out I was pregnant. Could only see this as a miracle as he and I have been trying to conceive for a couple of years until my diagnosis, now my husband and family are pained with the possibility that both our child and I may not survive the pregnancy. I want to do everything in my power to get through this pregnancy, even if it is to leave my husband and family a part of me if God forbid I am not able to survive, my choice is my child. Again, I know that Mr. Lerner and Mr. Rowe are not ultimately responsible for the actions of their partners, believe me when I say I am not trying to blame the whole firm and my point here is in the hope that I get their attention for partner venting because I and other people trust that we need their help. I am a young woman who has worked since I was old enough to work. I am not in any way possible trying to take advantage of the system, but my husband is going to need help to raise our baby and without this aid it will be almost impossible to do. Today I contacted social Security Disability myself and low and behold I got through and was told that I would have an answer this week. Again, I wish I had the luxury of time, but I do not. I am not sure where to go from here or if there will be any resolve from Lerner and Rowe partners or my only option to cut ties and proceed with another attorney. I want people to be aware and wary of reviews because they are not always what they seem, or is it just certain case workers? Not sure. Please do your research for disability benefits, your life may very well depend on it.

They were 'asleep at the wheel' during the whole experience, misinformed me, did not respond for over a month at a time an generally did a terrible job. I fired them.

They would n't take my claim for disability - not valid they said.

I previously wrote a review saying this company wasn't doing anything to help me. They are doing all they can. They really know the ropes of Social Security and are good to have on your side. These people dont do anything to help you they sit back and take your money. I wrote them a negative review and was threatened that if I didnt retract my statement they would not be able to represent me. So because we were only days from to court I had to take back my original review. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place you will be glad you did.
