Gloria has a great personality but she is no-nonsense in the courtroom, and very efficient. She achieved a great result for me and in doing so was always mindful of the expense. I highly recommend Gloria!

I am currently a client with Gloria. I have a tough crooked opposing counsel who is a bully as described by many attorneys. That OC just tries to linger cases to make more money off of her clients. I filed a year ago with almost no progress in the disclosures. I am happy that I switched to Gloria after I used two attorneys who failed to adequately fight for my rights. The prior attorneys were NOT very knowledgeable of the laws and the loopholes that the OC was using to linger the process. Gloria’s knowledge and expertise are shown in several ways. In spite how busy she is, She EFFICIENTLY AND THOROUGHLY reviewed my case and was immediately able to spot many loopholes and immediately address them. She contacts the OC demanding them to abide by the court orders, something that my prior attorney has rarely done. She educates me about my rights and responsibilities to better defend my case. She has already done a lot of progress on my behalf although I have been with her for only 2 months (including Christmas Holidays). She is calm when I am emotionally stressed because of how my previous attorneys dalayed my case with their lack of expertise. She also knows that I am very tight on budget, so I believe she is NOT greedy. She is trying to use the money wisely and work with you. What’s funny is that I was referred to her by her previous opponents from other cases!!! They said she is a powerful legal fighter!! I was always advised to be with an attorney that I can trust and be comfortable with. I used to ask how I can attain that if I’m not acquainted with the law and can not tell if that’s law or the lawyer lacks the knowledge. But now that I have Gloria, I can tell what that means. I really trust her.

My son and I scheduled a consult with Ms. Cales and were very impressed with the entire experience. It started with a very professional and friendly front office and continued with a consult with Gloria. Ms. Cales was very knowledgeable and got right to the point of our questions and concerns. Gloria helped me through an almost 2.5 year divorce. This was a complicated case with child custody. The now ex and his attorney even proffered false evidence. Gloria was well prepared and didn't stress the small things even when I did. During trial Gloria was able to present all the evidence and facts which stopped opposing councils attempts to overturn a Rule 69 agreement. Divorce costs a lot because it is worth every penny. Thanks to Gloria I have a great life without my ex!

I hired her a few years ago on a child custody case. It didn't take me long during the court session I had hired an unprepared lawyer. She informed me not to utter a word and unfortunately she didn't utter anything either. I soon realized that she was totally afraid of the other lawyer and judge. As the preceding went on she seemed to go along with the statements from the other lawyer. Not only did I lose the case, I ended up paying excessive child support and astronomical fees to her. I would never recommend this so called attorney to my worst enemy. She should not be able to practice in Arizona. She is only in it for the money and she does not due justice for her clients.

My experience with Gloria was very positive. She's a terrific attorney who is extremely knowledgeable about family law. She was up front and straight forward about any issues or concerns and told me when to worry and when not to worry. She sugar-coated nothing! She is very ethical and won't put up with the opposing counsel behaving in a less than ethical manner. Her staff is also great. They keep their clients informed on details concerning their case and were also great on answering any questions in a timely manner. You can tell she's got nearly 30 years of experience in family law! She is one of the best.

Gloria represented me 3 years ago. I wanted full custody of my children due to the abusiveness of their father. She told me that I was not likely to win. She then made an agreement with the opposing council to give their father 50-50 custody. She called and informed me that this decision had been made, and I was so legally naive at the time I did not know I could have said no. A week later I consulted with another attorney who told me Gloria did not have authority to make that decision. I fired her, and 6 months later won my case with my new attorney. I made a complaint to the bar, but they dismissed it stating Gloria had sent them "notes" of our discussion in which I told her to accept the custody offer.

I do not feel my best interests were protected by this attorney. It took over a year to get divorced and very costly. I have had to hire a new attorney to try to correct some of the mistakes from my original case that should have never happened.
