I had an issue with my husband's greedy heirs and needed legal counsel. In my search for representation I talked to no less than 6 firms. Joseph T. Kirshy of Owens Perkins was the only attorney who actually listened to me. My search was arduous but I kept coming back to Owens Perkins and Mr. Kirshy and he always took my calls. The thing to know is that he never charged me for a consultation or the advise he gave me. I did ask him, "how do I pay you?" He told me that, based on the information that I had given him on our calls, I was covered and that there was no need for me to spend my money, at this critical time, on attorney fees. Truly Astounding and Extraordinary. I did not need to retain his services but if I ever do or know of anyone who needs to I would make only one recommendation, Owens Perkins and Joseph T. Kirshy. Absolutely a top notch and very professional law firm. After switching from another attorney and dealing with a lot of frustrating issues, I was extremely happy to work with Michael Clont's for the past 1.5 years until my case was resolved. I work in real estate development and have frequent interactions with Attorneys. The level of attentiveness to details and and prompt response from Michael's team has been bar none.

Joe was able to meet with me on short notice, and provided a very detailed and thorough plan for managing the estate of my Father, who has recently passed. This lawfirm lost critical documents including a voided safety plan that my ex used to manipulate a court and win custody. They billed me for organizing and preparing for trial but did no such thing. Had they done so they would of found said document that the case was based on and the trial and end result would of been completely different. Now I am having to file emergency orders, obtain new attorneys, just to obtain legal rights back to my child and get her out of an abusive alcoholic home. This lawfire acknowledged their critical errors that resulted in a poor outcome for both my child and me...and still insist on collecting money and refused to settle for less payment when I pointed out I did most of the work and stated by their own paralegal in emails to me "thanks for doing the leg work, you and Mr.Clonts would make a great team"! THIS LAWFIRM IS A SCAM! Their only intentions are to collect payment whether your case goes fair or legal, isn't their problem.

Mr. Kirshy from Owens & Perkins Law Firm is an excellent lawyer, cares about his clients, and works hard to help his clients. He is honest, trustworthy, kind and understanding person. He genuinely cared about me and my case. He has experience. He worked very hard to finish my case. I hope I never experience this kind of family law situation ever again but if I need a lawyer in the future, I would definitely go back to Mr. Kirshy. Thank you, Joe!

Great service and friendly staff

I recently went through a divorce and worked primarily with Michael and Lisa throughout the process.
