Working with Jay and Emi I was in the best of care. Hands down THE BEST FAMILY ATTORNEYS in Arizona....... I know this because after being represented by the absolute worst one, thousands in attorney's fees, and having to represent myself a few times I reluctantly went in search of another family Attorney. After several months and countless phone calls I happened on Emi Koyama, their fee structure was what caught my attention however, it was at first call I immediately knew that SHE was the "David" I needed to fight my "Goliath" ( my Ex-wife had an entire family law firm at her finger tips). Emi is extremely ethical, straightforward, honest, compassionate, knowledgeable, and experienced. She will fight for you like family and will advise you on what is in the best interest of your children and your family, and when she wasn't there to give me 100% she handed the lead over to Michael Mazzella III while still there in the background working for me. My case was schedule for trial this month, when It got to the negotiation portion of the case, Michael laid the ground work and Emi came in with what can only be described as The GREATEST REPERSENTATION EVER!!!!!!! they had no idea what hit them. My wish to the universe is for this lawyer to remain in business and be successful for a very very long time. I met her after I graduated from college as an international student. I was dead broke at the time but someone I trusted told me she was worth every penny, so I did my best to come up with the funds and hired Baybik Law Group to help me navigate the waters of US Immigration. She was always straight forward, never played games or tricks. She always came through on the expectations she set. She was ALWAYS available to answer questions or concerns. Her quiet sense of humor came in handy numerous times although I never told her I was nervous about things. I was so satisfied with my first experience that I returned to her over and over until I became a US Citizen. I am forever grateful for her expertise and work ethics.

My husband and I hired Emi Koyama in April of 2020 to help with our case. Emi was very professional and sincere while communicating with us keeping our children's best interests as the center of our case as well as protecting the integrity of our family. She was very clear and to the point during negotiations to try to reach a settlement in order to not have to go to trial. BEST DECISION I EVER MADE!!! I talked to at least a half dozen divorce attorneys before contacting Hall Underwood. I was too nervous to pull the trigger with any of them. Especially when it came to pricing structure, I just couldn’t trust an open ended hourly rate. It’s terrifying! This is a decision to be made carefully.
