La Shawn Jenkins and his team were outstanding with my case . It wasn’t the easiest case and he fought for me and we prevailed : when I had a scary situation no one Should ever have to go through!!! If you are looking for a good civil /bankruptcy attorney La Shawn Jenkins would fight for you as he did for me . I give him a million stars !!!!

I contacted LaShawn Jenkins last month to handle a credit card lawsuit for my elderly mom who is 90 years old. First off, when I contacted his law office, I spoke with Nancy, who immediately told me not to worry that they would take care of everything as she listened to my mom‘s case. I received a good feeling from Nancy and once I spoke with LaShawn later on that day, I felt that my mom‘s case was in good hands. He listened to all the details, gave me my options, and immediately went to work on my case. There was a positive outcome, and that is thanks to LaShawn’s perseverance and skill set. I cannot say this about a lot of people, but I can definitely say this about LaShawn. Since the case has been dismissed, both my elderly mom and myself have finally gotten a good nights sleep. They took advantage of me and my grandmother. He came to me on a personal level about my reviews. He sent me a harsh text which at the time intimated me into taking down my reviews on Yelp and Avvo. My grandmother was having housing issues, but somehow he made our case about his reputation. We gave him $3,000 of our money and he gave us nothing, not even a receipt. This attorney was willing to take on a consumer fraud case for us. Spent time on the phone and through emails with him. Had to tell him numerous times what the issues were as he seemed to have forgotten details. The last email received was him saying that if we wanted him to send a Demand letter and/or file suit, to let him know and he would send us a fee agreement. I requested the fee agreement 3 times over the course of a couple of weeks and also copied someone in his practice that he had copied on the emails to me and never heard from this attorney or firm again. He strung us along for over a month and then out of the blue, for no reason, never responded to our emails nor sent the fee agreement. We checked our Spam folders and nothing was in there. We were going to hire him after we received the fee agreement.

Mr. Jenkins was a pleasure to work with from start to finish! Very professional, always keeping me in the loop on our case, and always knew the right questions to ask to represent us. I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Jenkins to anyone!

Went in on a day that seemed like the worst of my life with an acccident, traffic violations, and possible lawsuit. Within 30 minutes Mr. Jenkins had almost resolved the entire situation (within his legal limits of course) and I am walking out with a weight off my shoulders knowing the next few days might be the last of the ordeal. Mr. Jenkins was an excellent lawyer that was willing to clear my name and vacate my judgment on a case that dealt with an extreme fine.Without having to attend court Mr. Jenkins consulted me and reassured that the case was dismissed.

Attorney Lashawn is a very knowledgable lawyer, even outside of the areas he focuses on. He was very polite and caring towards my situation, not just out to gain my business but having my best interest in mind. He is a person you can actually trust. Getting to an equitable solution is my measurement of effectiveness. Mr Jenkins did that well. He was responsive to direct communications. The only area that kept him from a better rating was the general effectiveness of some of his staff in communicating. Apparently he made the necessary adjustments since our latest transactions were clearly and effectively communicated.
