Following a horrific vehicle accident, my nephew received the harshest possible charges for an event that we felt was not deserving of such excessive retaliation by the state. He was assigned a public defender who, while good-natured and good-willed, seemed increasingly incapable of doing more for my nephew than simply going through the motions and hoping for some good luck. I decided that I needed to help get a more determined and effective attorney. I had some contacts and got numerous recommendations for "the best" attorneys in Phoenix. Most did not even bother to respond to my inquiries. Someone recommended Marci Kratter, and after reading her statement of purpose and values on her website, I felt we had found the right lawyer for my nephew. The result of their efforts was a drastically reduced sentence deal for my nephew, one much more commensurate with what had actually occurred. In the course of the proceedings, which lasted much of a year, Marci was ALWAYS available, even during her off hours or on vacation, to help with new situations or simply to give us straight-from-the-shoulder information on where things stood. She was not only a masterful attorney, she engaged with us on the most human level, and I would recommend her to anyone seeking brilliant, humane, and attentive representation, and I would do so without reservation.

These were the second worst words my son had heard since the motorcycle accident he and his girlfriend had in Oct. The worst thing he had heard was that the love of his life had not survived the accident. Instead of 22 years, my son received 5 years, which was fair and just. She did it, she proved miracles are possible when she is working for you. In 2015, I went from being charged with 4 charges to being indicted on 8 charges ranging from felonies 2-5 of Asualt, Assisting a criminal street gang, Threat and intimidation and possession of narcotics, being that I was married to a police officer, they were ready to throw the book at me as a first time offender. I desperately needed to be represented as my life was at stake with 3,young children. Marci, was more than willing to take my case on, without a doubt! Marci, is a very good no nonsense lawyer. She is direct and to the point. I really appreciated her honesty, ethics and dedication. She never gave up even when we were losing hope.
