I gave Jon and his partner 4k to represent me 2 years ago. Its been 6 months since i was last able to contact them...... here I am 2 years after hiring them in limbo and still no legal custody of my children. I tried doiing this process without them after they ghosted me but bc they are listed as attonerys on my case i cant move forward without them.....What a gigantic waste of money and time. Once you pay these guys they ghost you.

We would have been better off with a public defender. After spending 10k, we received sub par service. Often times calls and texts were left unanswered. On the most important day of court, our lawyer was late. No doubt pissing the judge off. It was wonderful contact and big promises, until the bill was pain in full, at which point it was crickets. In retrospect, we could have made the same moves with a public defender. A public defender likely could have gotten us less time than the lawyer who showed up late, submitting files at the very last moment. Not all of our character witnesses were submitted. Also when we secured this lawfirm in 2022, they were listed as a firm that helps with wills and estates. Now they're listed as a divorce lawyer. Change the title, run away from the previous reputation I see.

Sends post cards blatantly advertising a felony charge. Extremely unprofessional and a pathetic attempt to draw in business. Would rate a 0 if possible.

Virtually zero stars, but I did get some useful paid-for real estate legal help after being canceled on with no notice, unreturned messages and delays when I stressed "urgent matter." For an inflated price (there are more affordable attorneys for basic contract help but my choice, my bad) I got one (days late delayed) phone call with John Ibsen that helped me understand my situation. A few days later tried to reach him for a follow up question and got hung up on repeatedly on the main number, then had him on his cell phone faking it wasn't him and rudely saying he'd take an after-hours message but I received no call the next day. Called his cell, got voicemail, left a message, and never got a response. Rude, unprofessional services was my takeaway experience. I need to retain an attorney now and they've lost this potential client.

I highly recommend John. He was always professional and addressed all my concerns. If I have any issues in the future I would definitely use him again.

My experience working with Craig and Lisa was excellent. Craig quickly responded to any inquiries, whether by phone or email, showing respect both for my time and money. He demonstrated concern for protecting my child, ensuring that he could not legally be removed from the state. I appreciate Craig's direct approach to providing feedback. At no point did I feel that he was try to paint either a rosy or overly negative picture of the case as it progressed. That made it easier for me to determine how best to proceed/negotiate. I highly recommend Craig and his team.

I’ve had attorneys in the past for prior litigations. Craig and Leslie have far surpassed any one I have hired especially for my child custody case. I can say if it wasn’t for Craig and Leslie, I would not have sole custody of my children right now. I highly recommend Canterbury law for your legal needs!
