We highly, highly recommend Jesse for anyone seeking a professional, passionate, wise and hardworking, attorney. She was truly, an answered prayer. So here is a little recap of my case and our history with Green Evans-Schroeder. My deportation case started in 2008. I was pretty young, and accepted a voluntary departure to leave the country and go back to Mexico, where I didn’t have any family. I hired Green Evans-Schroeder to see if there was anything I could do. Jesse Evans-Schroeder submitted a motion to reopen my case, arguing to the judge that I was eligible for asylum. The judge reopened my case. After it was reopened, the government agreed to “close” it and allow me to remain in the U.S. But then, almost ten years later, the government reopened my case. I had no idea. Luckily, Jesse tracked me down and let me know what was happening. I went back to court, and this time I was eligible to get my permanent residency through Cancellation of Removal. I had to show the Judge that my U.S. citizen mom, wife and kids would suffer an extreme hardship if I was removed. Jesse and her team spent a lot time gathering evidence and preparing me to testify in Court. On the day of the trial, we were happy and relieved that the judge granted my application, which means I will be a permanent resident, and I can stay here with my family. Even the government seemed to agree that I deserved to stay, and I believe that is because the case was so well prepared and the many prayers over our case, they knew the right thing was to allow me to remain here in the U.S. We are overwhelmed with gratitude and so thankful to Jesse and the team for this huge win.

My mother was in removal proceedings for many years, I was trying my best to do things on my own but there was only so much I can do. Without the right guidance or help it became overwhelming. After hearing many great reviews I finally reached out to Green Evans-Schroeder for help. Although it was a difficult case, Jesse was able to persuade the government and the judge that some of my mothers charges were incorrect, that she was actually eligible for a green card and ultimately to agree to a grant of my mother’s green card. Now my mother is now a lawful permanent resident! Hiring Jesse was the best decision we ever made.

La Sra. Evans-Schroeder representó a mi amigo en su caso de asilo de Ghana. Estaba en proceso de deportación y tuvo que luchar por el asilo en la corte. La Sra. Evans-Schroeder trabajó arduamente para asegurarse de que ella tenía todas las pruebas y preparó a mi amigo para su testimonio. Ganó su caso y el gobierno no apeló. I received an RFE for the removal of conditions on my permanent resident card. With the recommendation of a friend, I hired Atty Jesse to handle my case. It was the best decision ever. After consultation, Atty Jesse and her team worked hard in a very timely manner resulting in my green card approval within a month! That was really quick! Immigration papers can cause so much stress.. but Atty Jesse and her team gave me the peace of mind that I needed. With that I am forever grateful.

I hired Green Evans-Schroeder after I had already been denied my green card, working with a different attorney.  Jesse Evans-Schroeder encouraged me from the beginning that my green card never should have been denied.  She told me why immigration’s decision was wrong, and how we could go about reapplying.  The second time we applied, immigration again tried to deny me for the same (wrong) reasons. But Jesse appealed their decision, and with her legal arguments, they agreed they had been wrong!  They approved my residency!  I have lived in this country for many years, and tried for many years to get my green card. Thanks to Jesse and her team, I feel more secure in the U.S. than ever, and my family and I are all truly grateful. Will recomend to anyone. Thanks again for everything.

We hired Green Evans-Schroeder when my wife was detained and put in deportation proceedings. They got my wife out of detention, and then went on to fight her deportation case. Jesse had to show the Immigration Judge that my wife’s deportation would case extreme hardship to me and our children. She knew just how to gather the right evidence, and make the right arguments. She got the government to agree to giving my wife legal status, without even having to go to trial!
