I was in court supporting a family member sitting behind attorney and observed this attorney on his phone throughout the hearing on what appeared to be social media. He was not in court to do what he was paid for and instead appeared uninterested and bored.

Does not listen to clients. Too cocky and confident. If he would just take the time to listen to his client's history of the case he is taking on, would he better a better attorney. During the court hearing, he did not even know the plaintiff's family member's names and kept getting names confused. This, not only left me embarrassed but also l lost confidence in him as my hired attorney. I will be looking for a new attorney.

Thomas Higgens is my husband’s attorney on February 3, 2022. Our lives changed I lost my husband my kids lost their father to the system and let me tell you it was very hard, the first time I talked to Thom on the phone I knew he was the one. The attorney I knew you would help us. He was able to get my husband out on pretrial after sentencing. He fought extra hard for a variance from a 36 to 46 month plea my husband ended up getting only six months with time served for those four months so he just got home two weeks ago from doing the remainder. Thom has done so much I feel like I owe him so much not even just for bringing my husband and my kids father back. Does Backdoor deals with the prosecution.... here's the proof. doesn't return phone calls, this is the reason why he doesn't want you to talk during the trial. He'll also show you the plea deal on the same day of the trial.
