I live outside Arizona, but needed local representation to resolve a post-decree child support dispute in Tucson in August 2018. I found BLG through Hyatt Legal Services and retained Lisa Benavidez and her team to represent me. After considering the facts provided, she recommended that we try to settle, but our offer was not accepted and she appeared with me at the ensuing hearing. The matter was taken under advisement and both parties were ordered to submit briefs. Having spent about half my career working in three states as a legal assistant (CLA) for multiple law offices ranging in size from sole proprietorships to huge, multinational firms, I believe I have a pretty good handle on what constitutes superior representation of a client. For me, the BLG team went far beyond the baseline of meeting deadlines, keeping me informed and responding to questions in a timely and courteous manner (especially for a *remote* client!). At the hearing, Lisa skillfully presented the facts of the case by going through the results of her own investigation and thoroughly questioning both of us. Later, in the well-written brief she filed on my behalf, she again methodically set forth the relevant facts and clearly explained how the law applied to our advantage. I knew my case presented some challenges. Nevertheless, the work Lisa and Dawn Nickel did on my behalf was first rate. The matter is resolved and I anticipate never needing a divorce lawyer in Tucson again, and that is thanks in no small part to the *excellent* work done by this team.

Jessica made the adoption process super easy and flawless. She took the time to explain the entire process and answered all of our questions. The day of the adoption she came prepared with all the court documents and took extra time to take photos of your family! She went above and beyond for us! Though it is among life's most precious experiences, adoption is not without its stresses: among those is the mound of paperwork, the sources and need for which are mysterious indeed! One need only contact Jessica Graves to find a sure-fire stress-reliever. As an adoption attorney, she is the perfect combination of geniality, enthusiasm, expediency, courtesy, and professionalism. She went the extra mile for us at every turn. When I contacted her and told her that I wanted to adopt my three stepdaughters, she not only made it happen, she did so so swiftly that we were able to finalize at Adoptions in the Park, and event that I not only didn't know about, but which was virtually on top of us time-wise. In addition, Jessica provided unforgettable mementos of the event; it's easy to see how much she cares about adoption and wants nothing but happiness and success for everyone involved. I don't know what Jessica could change about her or her process, to make adopting more special. We wouldn't change a thing.

If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would! My husband and I just adopted our three children from foster care and let me tell you, the amount of paperwork to fill out is astronomical - and Jessica kept EVERYTHING organized. She worked closely with our adoptions case worker and kept us up to date on where we were with everything, and explained the adoptions process to us from start to finish (we knew nothing about it). To top it off, Jessica provided us a nice packet of information right after the adoption hearing that included our certified orders of adoption and information on how to get birth certificates and change social security numbers. We hardly had to ask any questions because she was so proactive with information.

Working with Jessica made the adoption process easy. She explained everything to us and answered all of our questions which made the legal aspect less stressful.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ATTORNEY. Handled my divorce, no kids easy property settlement that was final in January but inconsistent billing and final payment receipt still unresolved as of today. Made me feel like her fees were more important than my case. Made payment in full June 4th and I have been asking for a paid in full receipt since June 4th and not getting one.

Jessica is SO knowledgeable and our go-to for all things foster, adoption and foster-to-adoption related! She was adopted as an infant and her parents also fostered, and then adopted, one of her siblings - so she knows firsthand all the ins and outs of both processes. She made finalizing the adoption for our daughter seamless and smooth and was personable and communicative throughout each step. She’s an excellent lawyer and truly loves what she does!

Lisa was very rude to me and not willing to help me out whatsoever. I am currently seeking legal help to get my small boys. Lisa was very irrational to me basically giving her two sense and that was it. Made me feel very affended and angry. Horrible i wasted my money to get chewed up and spit back out. No empathy at all!
