I hired her as my attorney for a family law case. While she clearly has a solid understanding of family law, her handling of my case fell far below expectations. Communication was a major issue—I often had to call and leave messages for two or three days just to receive a brief or incomplete response. When I needed legal advice for specific situations, I never received clear or direct answers, leaving me uncertain about the next steps. Additionally, she never adequately prepared me for hearings and failed to organize or prepare the necessary paperwork in advance. I sent her documents with important questions that needed to be filled out and reviewed before sending them to the other party, but she never took the time to review them. Instead, she sent them as they were, without any consideration. This was, in my opinion, highly incompetent, especially since these documents contained personal questions with various scenarios that needed careful attention to ensure the best possible outcome. Her lack of preparation and attention to detail added unnecessary stress and confusion throughout the process.

Jane did an incredible job with my case. It was really complicated and she researched all of the legal issues and made sure she was ready for every hearing. She gave me her cell number so I could text her and she was really fast answering my questions. I would recommend her!

She screwed me big time so many errors in my petition. Does not know what she's doing. Her and her paralegal can't communicate at all. You'll loose your case and money. Don't hire

Ms. Jacobs served as my legal representation in family court proceedings involving my daughter being taken from her custodial parent by the state. She was honest and realistic in her evaluation and consistently provided practical and concise advice. I should also point out that she was the ONLY person involved in the situation who I never had difficulty keeping in contact with. Getting the attention of the state's overloaded case manager was often impossible, but Ms. Jacobs never failed to respond in a timely manner. Although I had to reduce my expectations for gaining custody simply as a result of Arizona's legislative disregard for what I would interpret as "common sense" (specifically, returning a child to a parent who has a history of multiple dependencies stemming from their illegal drug usage), Ms. Jacobs empowered me to go as far as the system is designed to allow. I'm left in a highly advantageous position if the other parent ever steps out of line again. She is reliable, pragmatic and an effective communicator.

My ex file for more child support. Jane helped me for free, and the. Let me make payments. She always returns my calls and got me so much help. The mom was wanting so much money and support that I couldn’t pay for. Jane help me get a payment I could afford.

I got Jane to help me get full custody of my kids when their dad was being abusive. She acted really fast and got an order to keep them away from him. She was really prepared and was awesome in court. She got a court hearing made real fast and when we went to court she was so amazing. She saved my kids.

This office seems to like to drag their feet. Even when trying to pull retainer from them. In a custody case theirs no time to be wasted

At first Jane Jacobs seems pretty knowledgeable, but unfortunately she is definitely not looking out for the best interest of her clients. She originally quoted us $3000 for a child relocation case, and as soon as the other party retained counsel she tried to Price gouging us and increase her retainer to $7000. I strongly recommend my fellow veterans consider a hard pass when it comes to Jane Jacobs as an attorney. A child relocation case is stressful enough, and having to deal with individuals like this it’s truly unfortunate.

Jane is phenomenal to say the least. After our first meeting I was more than convinced that she would help me get my daughter back in my life. Jane and her staff are attentive and waste no time when it comes to taking action or replying if a response is needed. Her attention to detail and quick rebuttal proved flawless in a successful attempt to get me back in my child’s life through trial. Rather than a client, I am treated more like a friend whom she desperately wants to help. Jane is a well seasoned expert attorney who’s presence is demanding in the courtroom. She is a true professional. I would recommend Jane to all of my family and friends in the event that her services are needed.

Jane did a fantastic job representing me in a nasty divorce. She really fought for me to get the stuff that was fair. She was always ready for hearings and we had lengthy trial. She was very strong in court and was really good at cross examining the witnesses. She also argued really well for what I wanted. She always responded to my calls or emails right away, even on weekends. At the end of my case, she actually was able to return a portion of my retainer. She was so fair and reasonable. I would recommend her as an attorney,

The worse lawyer so sad but, she basically was not organized call me the same day for Court, the worse experience on my life with a lawyer. She also send me conversations with the other lawyer was not even profesional. I can lose my kids for her negligence as a lawyer. She also miss Court and because of that I need to pay attorneys fees she is a nightmare as a lawyer. I believe that she need to get remove from the Bar Association.

Mrs. Jacobs was appointed as my child's Best Interest Attorney in a Family Law case. She was exceptional! She made every effort to thoroughly review all information that was presented to her in a timely manner, as well as meet with my child in her home environment. It is obvious that she has a true passion for helping children and that they (as her clients) are her top priority. I highly recommend Mrs. Jacobs!
