I came to Mr. Buttons with a convoluted mess of a tax situation complicated further by a stressful IRS audit (complete with intimidation, threats, wrongful seizure of tax return monies, and freezing of bank accounts). Prior to retaining Eric, I worked with two local CPA’s to reach a resolution (neither of whom made any headway), finally in desperation I went searching for someone with the acumen, knowledge, and skill to handle the audit and make the nightmare end! I had almost given up hope of ever getting justice and was certain the odds of seeing a refund from the IRS was nonexistent. After retaining Eric, he immediately had the IRS release their hold on my bank accounts and, in relatively short order, managed to completely resolve ALL of my tax issues. As I type this, I am staring at a letter I received this morning from the IRS containing confirmation of resolution as well as a check refunding everything. I have no doubt that had I continued without Eric’s help I would still be fighting and miserable. If you are looking for a tax attorney/CPA you cannot find anyone more versed in tax law and more capable of forcing the IRS to follow their own rules than Eric Buttons and his team.
